I’ve never understood why replacement chargers cost so much if you get the manufacturer’s one. This one works exactly the same and I’d not be able to tell it wasn’t an original, in terms of quality.And the quality is very good. There’s a good weight to the charger and it feels premium. After using it for a while there have been no issues at all. It’s does get hot just as the original does and given the wattage that’s to be expected.For the cost it’s a great choice. It’s works with a huge range of dell laptops, not just the ones that need 240W. I’m happy with it.

Is this legal or safe? The two halfs are coming undone , exposing the electronics, on a 240 w power supply? Possibly it isn’t glued or screwed or studded in correctly? What happens if I pull the two halfs fully apart? The original dell one doesn’t split apart like this. On the positive side, super cheap
