No volume control

This was purchased as a back up for when the power goes out and there is no electricity to run the cordless phone. It is all you would expect for the price but it serves the purpose. If you need a phone that is just a phone. I recommend.

It's a phone. Nothing more to it really, except that the ringer is so shrill and loud that it makes me jump out of my skin every time it goes off. I bought this so I could buzz people in, I live in an apartment building that requires a phone to do that. There's no way to adjust the volume, and there isn't much room to put cotton or tape something over the speaker to lower the volume. I'll just have to have a mini heart attack every time someone makes it pierce through my brain.

I purchased this phone more for emergency purposes than anthing else. As all phones lately are cordless and at least one needs to be plugged into an electric outlet, we can plug this one into the actual phone plug in the wall and still be able to make calls when the electricity goes out.....laugh, but what charges your cell phone....electric.

Well made- and does work. We bought two of these as joke for a co-worker who hates technology
