This tablet arrived around 2 weeks ago and I've been putting it through it's paces since. I'm glad to say that the tablet is a great product and much better than you might expect for it's sub-£300 price. The tablet is well designed, being relatively thin and with a large display with reasonably narrow bezels, it is also lighter than other budget tablets I have tried in the past.The performance of the tablet is strong and solidly mid-range, operating without lag and being able to run all the games I've tried smoothly (but not necessarily at max settings). There is 256GB storage which is decent and 8GB of RAM which can be extended to 16GB by partitioning some of the ROM although I would advise against this unless you use a ton of RAM as it can reduce speed. The SoC and storage specifications are good for the price.The display is bright and 1920x1200 which is the sweet spot in terms of pixel density and battery life for tablets. It is great for watching videos and has good colours, although contrast is understandably not as strong as you would get with OLEDs, although this is a worthwhile tradeoff as adding one would have dramatically increased the price.Included is a decent case, charger (with USB C cable) and a SIM removal tool. I didn't test the SIM functionality as I don't have a spare one but there is a slot for one much like you'd find on a phone, so you can use data without WiFi while on the go, it is a nice addition that is great for car journeys and the like.The battery life is long on the device, I didn't measure it but it easy lasts a full day and potentially two if you're careful. It takes a while to charge using the 18W charger but this isn't much of an issue since it lasts so long.The speakers were surprisingly good as well, they don't quite match an iPad's speakers but have good volume and clarity. There are also 4 speakers, so you get good stereo separation.The camera on the tablet is decent, and more than suitable for the odd family video or photo. You won't necessarily be making films on the tablet but there isn't the fuzziness that you often get with cheaper tablet photos and videos, think of it as the quality of a mid range smartphone.In terms of software, it appears to run a mostly stock version of Android, there isn't a ton of bloatware and everything is as you would expect in terms of the interface and features. I prefer when OEM's don't mess around so much with the operating system so this is a plus for me. There is also a pen included that is the basic kind without a battery that mimics your finger, it doesn't seem to offer tilt or pressure functions but it's useful for quick drawings or notes.Overall this is a solid tablet and shows how far the industry has come when you get a device of this quality for the price. It has all the features you need while also being good quality, it reminds me of the Google's old Nexus line of tablets from many years ago which is high praise. If you're after an Android Tablet and are on a budget, then the G7 Tab Pro should definitely be on your shortlist.

I had been thinking for a while to buy a new tablet for my wife as she kept complaining that her rather ageing Samsung tablet, to which she was, to say the least, somewhat addicted, kept running out of battery power and she was forever charging it up. I was having similar issues with my four year old mobile phone which eventually prompted me to buy a new one.I searched online and came across a very reasonab toly priced brand new Umidigi Bison X20 which appealed to me not only for its price but also for the its overall excellent specifications and rugged protection.Having bought a Umidigi A3 about 5 years ago which served me well, I bought the X20 and am highlydelighted with it in every way.Anyway I digress, back to the wife and her tablet. I thought why not buy her an early Christmas present, so I searched on Amazon for a similar sized tablet to what she had. I also compared a number of 11inch tablets which are slightly larger than her old tablet and was impressed with the specifications of the Umidigi G7pro, in particular the fast charge capability, big battery, large ROM, huge RAM memory, thefact that it supports up to a1Tb SD card. I also read the reviews of others who had bought one of these.Much to my delight there was a sudden opportunity to get one at a reduced price in a recent sale onAmazon so I took the plunge and bought one and so glad I did!My wife was delighted when I gave it to her and now she cant put it down. She finds it fulfils everything sheneeds, says it is much easier to use than her previous one. It is advertised as good for gaming but neither ofus are into that so I can’t comment on it but the video quality is brilliant.When she has let me, I have had a try out and I am very impressed that it lives up to the many 5 star ratings it has received on Amazon.I would recommend anyone thinking of getting a new tablet PC with high quality and a high spec. and at avery reasonable price to buy one. You will not be disappointed!

The media could not be loaded. Impressive tablet ! It came with a nice practical case already and a stylus. The gaming is smooth because of the decent processor, it handles all mobile games I tried really well. I have also used it to stream a game through the xbox app which it handled perfectly. The screen is fantastic and is a perfect size to watch films with good internal speakers.I have a Umidigi phone as well as this tablet and have always been impressed with the quality and value for money with the products.Battery life is fantastic compared to the old one we had. Really good value for money. We would recommend !
