Solidly built, works out of the box.
I've been building PC's since the 90's, and I've built on a lot of asus boards. This one is by far my favorite.First of all, it is very easy to navigate and the instructions are very clear in mapping the various connection locations, and the markings on the board itself are fairly straightforward and easy to find. Plenty of m.2 slots, room for SATA drives, if you like the scenic route, and a plethora of USB options.Secondly, everything was compatible out of the box, no bios flash needed. First time in a long time I haven't had to tinker with anything to get to first boot. And finally, the fit and finish is excellent. I'd never gone in for the TUF branded stuff before, but when I upgraded GPUs a couple of years ago, I lucked into a TUF 3070 Ti, and I find that I appreciate the solid construction and "heft" of the TUF components. That influenced my decision to go with this board over some others, and I'm very happy with it.My ONLY complaint is the new m.2 securing system. I get that it's supposed to be some kind of quick swap or something, but there are little plastic tabs that fold over and hold the drive in place, and they work just fine, but also break pretty easily. I'd have liked the option of screwing the drives down like we did the in stone age, or at least have a couple extra of the plastic clips included.Overall though, I'm extremely happy with this board and I'll definitely be buying TUF for my next upgrade.

Excellent Motherboard
Works great. Set up was easy. Just make sure you hear everything snap or your connection isn't there. I only had two issues. The first was only two SATA connections but I know it has multiple M2s and that's where everything is going towards. The other issue was that the Windows 11 RAID drivers for it aren't right yet so I had to run my drives in AHCI.I can save to two of them but can't access the middle drive and windows doesn't have an access/open function for the drives... So it's more of a Windows Issue.

Great upgrade and easy install
Thr install in to the case was easy. Just be sure to put the memory into the proper slots or the system won't boot. The documentation could have been a little more robust. Everything cam he found on the internet though.

Great value for the price!
Great value for the price! The build quality is solid. If you are coming from another ASUS board it has the same familiar configuration you are used to.If you are into clocking your CPU up/down the tools available are super easy to work with to tune it to your liking. The only issue I've had which isn't that big of a deal but kind of annoying is randomly on boot up it'll pause and take a minute. Checked hardware and everything appears fine so I'm unsure of the cause as it is random, it's like 80% of the time it boots flawlessly and then randomly hangs before booting for an extra minute. Once booted though it's always been flawless.

9800X3D owners - Read this!
Out of the box, setup was a bit annoying. The motherboard shipped with the stock BIOS and wouldn’t post with a 9800X3D. Before building, make sure you have a USB drive ready with the latest BIOS to flash using ASUS FlashBack. Once it posts, reflash the BIOS using ASUS EZ Flash, and you're good to go.

Bad experiences with new asus boards
UPDATE: I decided to get another x870 thinking i just got unlucky. Unfortunately same issue. Mind you i have tried different power supply and ram sticks. Just like another review on here. There were no errors on the board unless I remove the RAM sticks. Other than that no errors. My CPU works, still works with the b850 with same mobo and ram and psu, but still rebooting issues. This has been a bad experience for me. I am through with Asus amd boards.I have been buying asus boards since i started building pcs and so far within the last week i have gone through two motherbords: This b850 board and asus x870 tuf gaming. One had issues with powering off fully and the other would not power on at all. I am now going another route and looking at other manufacturers.
