Spirit Riding Free: Seasons 1-4 [DVD]

My daughter (18 months) is absolutely in love with this show. We first saw it on Netflix and have watched all of the episodes many times over. It's a good show for all ages and seriously, what little girl isn't in love with horses. Even I can almost quote the show at this point, y'all. It's about a young well bred city girl, Lucky Prescott, daughter of railroad baron Jim, who moves from the big city to the wild frontier. Anyway, buying this set of episodes 1-4 was a no brainer. Now when we go for long car rides or stays at Nana's house she'll always have Spirit.

What a nice dvd set. I bought this for my grandson. He loves spirit so I thought this would be a great addition to his dvd collection. Each dvd has it's own spot. Very happy with this purchase.

I like it alot

I watch this series with my daughter. We love it! It's about a city girl, her dad and aunt who move to the frontier to live and help build the railroad West. It's about building new friends, learning to ride a wild horse she befriends, adventures on the frontier, helping others, taking responsibility, facing dangers & fears, and going to school in a one room school house. She has two best friends who each have a horse with unique personalities. The horses don't talk but do have expressions. The animation is wonderful and pretty realistic. This series is a spin-off of "Spirit, Stallion of the Cimmarron.

My granddaughter loves horses, especially "Spirit". This series was a big hit with her and provides a good pastime for cold, rainy, days. It is reasonably priced. There are 4 discs with 6 different episodes on each one.

My daughter loves the show however there are some issues with the characters lying to their parents which is really unnerving to me. Never should it be ok to lie to avoid the consequences of your actions so for that I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
