Works as advertised within physical realities of hauling around 14 gallons of gas!
This thing is awesome! It works great for my application. Remember, gasoline weighs about 8 pounds to the gallon, so even if you put 10 gallons in it, as I usually do, the tank then weighs 80 pounds. In order to gravity feed fuel, the tank has to be higher than the vehicle you putting it into. That being said, it works perfectly. I put the tank flat in the bed of my SxS, and stand it up when I want to dispense fuel. The mower and the SxS fuel tanks are both below the level of the bed, so you get a strong gravity feed - it's like being at a gas pump. Also, the nozzle will reach the mower from the bed, so I can fuel up without unhitching or anything. It rolls pretty well on level surfaces. Lifting it up into the bed is difficult. I roll it up onto my trailer, but I have to lift it into the bed of the SxS. If you're willing to work with the gravity physics of it, it'll do a good job and make sure you have plenty of fuel on hand.

Leaks and Handle Cracked...
I have had (3) of these for about 2 years now and never used them. I finally filled them when we were planning a trip about 6 months ago. They did not get used for the trip and have been stored in our garage. I went out to the garage the other day to find the whole garage was engulfed in gas fumes. I went to the back of the garage and found that one of the system had sprung a small leak, most likely in a seam on the bottom, which resulted in about 7 gallons of gas leaking onto the garage floor. Being that this is a major safety issue, I quickly grabbed all containers and got them outside and cleaned up the fuel and had to let the rest evaporate out with windows and doors open. Aside from the container leaking, I found that all 3 of them the wheels did not rotate very well and I had to loosen the bolts a bit to get them to turn freely, but this resulted in the nylocks no longer locking on the axle and ultimately a wheel came off. Add to that when I went to go empty the containers I found one of the handles had cracked. Sadly since I have had these for 2 years (although not used until recently) I am out of warranty and am stuck with $400 worth of fuel containers I have zero confidence in and now need to try to recycle (good luck) and find another solution. Although these seemed like a great solution, sadly when they were used and needed they failed badly. I am just happy we caught the leak before we had a major emergency with a fire in our garage. Guess I will go back to my usual fuel jugs as I have had ZERO failures with these in over 20 years.

Works great for me. Recommended.
I'm really glad I bought this. I use it to fill my riding mower and push mower. It was easy to fill at the gas station. I only filled it to 10 gallons the very first time to make sure I could lift it easily into the back of my SUV (the instructions said it should be taken out of the vehicle and placed lying down on the ground to fill - which seems like a good idea). I had no problem hefting it up into the car, but, especially if filled to max, I could see how some smaller folks might have a harder time (I'm 6 feet tall). So, if you can't lift 14 gallons of fluid by yourself, either don't fill it all the way, or take someone with you to help you.I have no problem using it, either. Loosen the air/vent valve, and open the two ball valves at the bottom (one for the tank, the other for the hose). As another reviewer said, it's easier if you lay it on its back to do this, then stand it up. Takes all of ten seconds. Simply reverse the process when you're done to get it ready to store. You might want to close the ball valves first, then finish pumping out whatever small amount might still be in the hose itself. You do have to actually pump the handle, which does require both hands, since you have to also hold in the little safety button. A bit annoying, but, hey, you're probably using this to fill up smaller engines like mowers and whatnot. You're probably not using it to fill your car or truck. So, you might have to switch hands while filling if you get tired. Since the gas gets pumped out in little batches, it might splash, rather than just smoothly pour, so you might want to be sure that the end of the spout is really inside the tank, or filling along the side or something, to minimize splash-back. Took only a second or two to see how to do it on my mowers. The wheels are not rubber or anything fancy like that. They're just plastic disks. But, I generally don't need to roll it more than just a few feet. I roll it just out of garage, pump it, then roll it the few feet back in. I'm not dragging it around like rolling luggage through an airport. So, it's not a magical device. The fact that it holds a lot of gas also means (when full) it will be on the heavy side. The fact that it's a manually-operated device means you burn a couple of calories using it, rather than flipping a switch or something. But it does what it is supposed to do, and it works great for me. I've had no problems with it, and would recommend it.UPDATE - 26 November, 2014The pump handle/nozzle assembly recently broke. I called the company (Scepter), and for $20, they sent me a replacement. Swapping the handles was easy. So, while I would have preferred to have had the one moving part on this tank be constructed more sturdily, it was easily fixed when it finally broke.
