Wanted a small simple alarm clock that was easy to read, had an option to be backlit permanently and you don’t have to fumble around in the dark trying to locate a button or switch. This item is perfect if that is what you are looking for. Well constructed, easy to use, simple, good value. Excellent customer service as well when I asked a question.For your info the permanent backlight is very low, so won’t disturb your sleep. At first I thought mine wasn’t working, but on checking in the dark it was perfect.Happy to recommend this product 5*

Best alarm clock I have ever bought,if you just want the time, an alarm and a light to show time it’s perfect and so easy to set up

This clock is simple with no complicated settings and features a large easy to read LCD display.The compact size is great for any room and even for travel.The time can be chosen between 12/24 hour format and the unique orange coloured backlight is quite soothing.The raised buttons at the top are self-explanatory and work positively.A quick user guide is printed at the bottom of the clock for quick reference, which is a nice touch!The clock is powered by x3 AAA batteries, although I would have liked it to be rechargeable.

Great and easy to see the time

I don’t usually write reviews but this clock is brilliant !Been looking for a small clock like this for a while . It has a light coloured backlight to see the time in the dark without touching it , but this can be switched off . It’s easy to use without any unnecessary displays & small & light enough to travel with , without setting the light off .Thrilled to bits I finally found the perfect bedside clock !

Can barely read the time on the screen and alarm is quiet and doesn't go off for long

Bought for my wife who wanted to replace a clock she got with an Oral B toothbrush. This foots the bill nicely, and even she can program it!

The media could not be loaded. A compact alarm clock with a super-easy set up using the simple instructions provided. It has a pleasant crescendo alarm, which is easy to turn off as all of the operating buttons are located on the top. The exterior has a comfy, rubberised plastic feel that's nice to hold.The screen isn't the sharpest I've seen, but I'm not using it during the day. It's perfectly visible during the night when I press the back light (via the 'snooze' button) which illuminates the time, and although it's smaller than most, I can see this well enough without my glasses.If I don't want to keep pressing the back light to see the time, there's a little switch located on the rear of the clock which allows me to turn this feature on permanently - when it gets dark enough, a subtle 'amber' bulb lights up automatically. This is fairly dim, but it's a perfectly pleasant and adequate light and won't disturb anyone who doesn't want the time burned into their retinas.The only downside is that it requires x3 AAA batteries, which seems excessive for a small clock with very few features (I'm putting this requirement down to the back light feature). However, there is a low battery warning, which is a useful feature.It says it has no bells or whistles and sometimes that is all you need.Note: I've taken a few shots in different lighting to show the 'back light' feature in action.
