As a Northern Californian I love all things Big Foot and I was immediately drawn to this item and was beyond psyched to snag it for review. The artwork is fantastic and I really appreciate the care that went into designing this. I also appreciate the obvious effort made in 'cooking' a good product.The flavor was fantastic. Really peppery and a healthy amount of salt. The beefy-ness is there. The pieces are thick and look like high-quality meat. The issue for me was the texture. I'm a really dry, jerky person, and I like the chewy-ness that goes along with that. This was a very soft type of chew. I'm not a jerky expert so that may in fact be a sign of excellent jerky. Just for my personal taste I need it drier.

This bag of Mythical Meats Bigfoot Beef Jerky came intact and sealed. The flavor of the jerky is quite salty, also smoky and peppery. Has a hearty texture and somewhat harder to tear and chew. A little tougher than other brands but in a good way. The 6oz bag is resealable. Good overall.

I got Mythical Meats Bigfoot Beef Jerky in Xtra Peppered flavor, and I really like it. I was afraid it might be coated in big pieces of black pepper, but it isn't. It has a great texture that's consistent throughout the bag - not too tough, but not squishy. I've had squishy beef jerky and I find it rather disconcerting. The flavor is really good as well, with a hint of sweetness and smoke, and a bit salty. I'm actually pretty picky about beef jerky, but I really like this one

This review is for the Mythical Meats Bigfoot Beef Jerky - 6oz, Extra Peppered Flavor, High Protein Snack, Made in USAThis isn't the best beef jerky I've had but it's pretty good. It has a nice smoky peppery taste and very chewy. The meat is on the moist side rather than dried cardboard like some jerky I've tried. This jerky tasted fresh and the smell is wonderful. I think I would've loved it more had it been just a little thinner and less salty.

This is really good beef jerky! Some of the best I have had in a long time! There is just the right amount of pepper to make it extra peppery but not overwhelm the underlying great seasoning used on the jerky! The jerky is also the texture that I prefer, a little moist and soft, not hard and dry! And even though the bag isn't huge it's packed with the same amount of jerky often found in larger bags at the store or gas station! All around I don't give many 5-star ratings but this jerky gets one!

As with others, the jerky I received was pretty far from what's shown in the pictures and looked extremely old. Mostly just salt crystals but not what I was expecting. The jerky is decent, but the 'extra peppered' flavor gets old quick. Expected more for the price.

This beef jerky by Mythical Meats is a dryer texture and takes a bit more work to chew. I actually prefer dryer beef jerky to slow down the snacking, so I really like the texture. The flavor is salty with bits of black pepper with some bites having more pepper than others. I did expect a much more peppery flavor with it being "extra peppered." The bites that do have more pepper have that extra savory kick. I like this jerky, and my only real complaint is that it is a bit more salty than I prefer and the caramel coloring in the ingredients is truly not necessary or wanted. It does have corn syrup, and again, I would personally prefer a more natural ingredient to sweetening jerky.
