Super lightweight and durable. The side pockets are great and mesh bag fits a ton. On the inside of the bag there’s a clip that can hold a camelback. There’s a separate bag inside of the large bag to hold items that you want to be kept separate. There’s no way my wife would let me purchase a hyper life with how expensive they are. The price is right and meets my needs.

If you are a petite person this may not be the backpack for you. I purchased this backpack because of the weight, cost and durable material. I am a 5'5 female at 124 pounds and the belt strap maxed out when pulled tightly all the way. I wanted to make this pack work, so I made some modifications. I placed a foam sit pad in the mesh pouch provided along the belt line and this gave me an extra 2 inches of belt making the backpack fit comfortably. If I lose weight on the trail, I may be in trouble and would have to modify it more by adding more foam padding. I have spent about 10 hours hiking in this pack and I find the durability and functionality to be just fine. The pack has big side pockets for water bottles and the back mesh pocket is very large to put all your easily accessible items you need for the day. I'm looking forward to taking this on a 10 thru hike.

Pros: great price for a lightweight pack. Had plenty of room for all my gear inside the pack for a 5 day backpacking trip (including bear bag and food). Lots of room outside in the outside pockets. Comes with bungee to add onto back. Big side pockets that cinch. Large belt pockets. Comfortable fit. You do have to keep the shoulder straps wide but this helps with posture. Appears to be well made.Cons: long straps everywhere. I mean loooonnng. They tend to get caught up in everything. They are difficult to remove if you want to add holders on the shoulder straps. One side of the zip cord broke on the mesh pocket on day 2. Still held the items. If it rains or gets wet, the color from the pack will fade on your clothes.All in all, was please with this pack.

Plastic clips breaking, in the middle of a 15 day trek the clips have begun to snap. This is not a true backpacking pack, please avoid if you plan on going more than a mile out of town. This bag is worthless junk. Design is great, quality is TRASH!!!! I am using safety pins to hold things together but this is not good at all
