Great for post-rotator cuff surgery & ease of removing or adding filling. Velour covering on the pillow, neck pad & forearm strap is great. The hand strap needs to be the same - it’s a wide piece of elastic. Since I’m allergic to latex (rubber product); it’s not good for me. The oversized plastic buckles with swivel on the arm strap & thick metal attachment rings are both very uncomfortable - I removed both. A heavy felt or velour strap with Velcro at the ends & flat half-round rings like slings have would be much better.

I love this pillow. It secures my injured shoulder when I try to sleep. My surgeon told me it will be very helpful for my upcoming shoulder surgery. I’m so glad I got this!

essentially saved my moms life after surgery & much better than an uncomfortable sling. haven’t tried washing it, but so far no complaints.
