Good solid SDS hammer drill
A nicely made 240v sds hammer action drill.Good quality plastics have been used in the construction of this sds drill. It has a rubberised back to the handle to aid hand grip.It is solid and heavy weight with a thick rubber uk 3pin power lead that measured over 3 metres.A powerful 800 watt motor controlled by a variable speed trigger this drill has a top speed of 1200 rpm. There is a locking button for the drill to hold the top speed. There is also a reverse switch just above the trigger and the drill will reverse but at a much lower speed. Really there to aid in getting the drill bit out of a hole when stuck. My only criticism is that the reverse switch is flimsy, and I can see it getting broken in use.The drill has a selector switch on the side of the body to switch between drill, drill and hammer and hammer only, with an intermediate position for repositioning a chisel when in hammer only. The sds plus chuck is easy to release when changing bits and there is a solid side handle mounted just behind the chuck which can be repositioned and can incorporate a depth gauge.Included in the package are a set of spare carbon brushes for the motor changing them would require removal of the rear panel held on by 3 screws.Included also were four short sds drills varying between 6 and 12mm dia. Whilst it was nice to see the. I would have preferred a tough carry case which sadly was not included. In use the drill performs well with a very strong hammer action, rated at up to 4000 strikes per minute. It is a good weight and the tough rubber mains lead is welcome. Makes light work of chiselling and drilling into concrete. Compares well to other sds hammer drills I possess. At £55.59 at the time of review I feel this represents good value.

Solid Performance for Heavy-Duty Work
I recently purchased the DongCheng 1 Inch SDS-PLUS Rotary Hammer Drill and have been using it for a variety of concrete and masonry drilling projects. This drill is definitely a workhorse and delivers excellent performance for the price. The 6.7AMP motor packs plenty of power, easily handling tough tasks like drilling into concrete and masonry. The SDS-PLUS system allows for quick and secure bit changes, which is a huge time-saver. The included 4 SDS Plus drill bits were a nice bonus and have been really useful for my ongoing projects. One of the standout features for me is the ergonomics. Despite its power, the drill is relatively comfortable to use for longer periods, and the vibration is minimal compared to other drills I’ve used in the past. The build quality is also impressive – it feels solid and durable, built to last through demanding jobs. However, I knocked off one star because the corded design limits mobility somewhat compared to cordless drills, especially if you're working in areas without easy access to power outlets. Additionally, it's a bit on the heavier side, so it may be tiring to use for extended periods without breaks.Overall, this is a great drill for anyone looking to tackle tough concrete or masonry jobs, and at this price point, it’s a fantastic value. Highly recommend for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike!

Powerful, versatile, and budget-friendly
This powerful drill is perfect for tough tasks like drilling into concrete, cement, brick, wood, rock, and even hard bathroom tiles. It features four operational modes: drill, hammer drill, rotary hammer for demolition, and rotary chisel. I recently used it while redecorating my bathroom, and it handled hard tiles and walls with ease. Compared to my old drill, the vibrations at similar speeds are noticeably weaker, making it more comfortable to use. The handle offers a secure and comfortable grip, and the inclusion of four strong bits is a great bonus. At £55.59, this drill provides excellent value for money — powerful, versatile, and budget-friendly.

Decent SDS Drill
I have abandoned my codered drills some time ago for the convenience of cordless but sometimes there are occasions where I have had to borrow a heavy duty tool to drill in to concrete etc. This drill performs brilliantly, especially for the relatively low cost. I Use it only on the occasions where a cordless one isn't upo to the job as you do need to have a power source but when I have used it it has made light work of large, deep holes in brick and stone. It's really powerful and has done every job I have needed it to so far - impressed.

Great Quality SDS Drill
I wasnt really expecting that much for the price of this sds hammer drill but was very happy with the build quality of it , and how good it really is . i have been using it to drill holes into concrete flags to fix angle irons into then screw planks of wood to make a border in the garden and fill with stones . This drill went into the concrete with absolutely no problems at all which made the job easy . I cannot fault this drill at all plus you also get 4 drill bits with it . I think this kit is exceptional value for money in my opinion .

Works well but maybe more suited to home/DIY than professional use.
This SDS drill works well considering the budget, but it's not hard to spot differences between this and a more professional tool. Operationally it's doing the job fine, and the included drill bits have no problems drilling into solid stone in my wall which is great. I've also been using it to remove plaster and concrete with chisel bits and it works equally well for that, and so much faster than a hammer and bolster. The durability is probably my only minor worry with it. It's good spare brushes were included, but some of the plastic feels a bit brittle to me, and I feel like the forward / reverse switch will snap off at some point, it is quite thin and sits really low instead of being up against the drill body. Some more rigidity and better ergonomics would have been good, but I don't expect to have any problems with careful use.Value seems fairly comparable to a similar lower end SDS drill I can pick up from my local trade supplier, so for the delivery convenience it seems like a good enough option for the home or DIY user.
