Update - Changing my review to 5 stars. I contacted the company via email. I received a response within 1 day. They issued a replacement and have forwarded the issue to their engineering team to see if they can improve this weak spot. I continue to be very satisfied with the ease of use and volume of cold smoke this product generates. Now I am also very satisfied with the after-sale support they provide!BTW, I agree with the review about the sticky black tar-like liquid that is produced due to the burning wood chips and pellets. I do not think this is a unique problem with this device. I recommend wearing plastic gloves while cleaning the unit over several sheets of newspaper. I would love to hear about a better solution to this, but I am still very pleased with this cold smoker!Original Review - Second time using the smoker and the brass connector holding the air pump hose to the smoker tube broke off. Amazon says I am 2 days out of the return window, and I can not find a way to contact the seller to see if they will replace the broken part. The smoker works well, but the brass connector is not strong, and seems to have weakened by just the heat generated by the smoker tube. Would give a top rating if I can get some help!

We had an offset wood fired smoker for 30 years until a weld gave out and wanted an easier way. We bought a good brand pellet smoker. After our wood fired smoker the disappointment of the pellet smoker was immediate. We tried several ways to increase the smoke. The tubes needed to be removed from the smoker to refill with a loss of temperature and smoke. same for the foil packs.After a lot of looking, I decided to try "Cold Cheese Smoker Generator for Pellet Smoker". Wow, I am impressed! First, we smoked some hamburgers, then we smoked a spatchcocked chicken. You can add more chips as needed without opening your smoker. Another feature of this generator is the second tube that collects the tar from the smoke so it a clean and safer smoke. The chicken was beautifully smoked! we have usually added a BBQ sauce at the end for flavor. I didn't this time so we could taste for the smoke. Well, we didn't use any sauce at all because it was perfect just as it was.I HIGHLY recommend this smoke generator!

Great product very energy efficient however it did burn through the wood chips a lot faster than advertised but using wood pellets seem to slow that fast burn down quite a bit would definitely recommend this to someone as a gift or someone who loves to make barbecue will definitely be buying one again if anything ever happens to this one

The smoke ring in the first pic says it all. THAT is what you're after in smoking meats. The beauty of this COLD SMOKER is that it doesn't add ANY heat. Does NOT cook your food at all. So you want smoke cheeses, veggies, fish go for it. Make your own lox !

Are use it to smoke fish But it’s too messy good morning I need a part for that cold smoker. It just broke off. I don’t know how weak that part is. I’ll send you a picture.

I reported a weak spot.in the air nozzle fitting which broke. The company has since replaced that part with stainless steel. they sent me free replacement parts along with a new cold smoker. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE..My friend and I will enjoy cold smoking for years to come. Great for hot smoking too.

Smoke generator air pumpI first purchased the smoke generator on 2 November 2024 from Amazon. The air pump on the smoke generator lasted about two days maybe four hours of use and it will not work anymore.. I then contacted Amazon.I was directed to send it back to them,in return they sent me a new one. On 1/ 27th of December 2024 I received the second smoke generator from Amazon plugged it in the air pump came on the smoke generator worked I unplugged it got my prime rib ready to smoke I turned on the smoke generator and it will not work air pump light keep blinking.. I troubleshoot as much as I could I unplugged it plugged it back in put on a low let the air light blink. The light blink a little bit and then turn it up. Still nothing left it like for about 20 minutes, nothing happened no air. The smoke generator is covered from store warranty. Amazon. Until one February the problem is if I turn it in, I’m gonna get another one that doesn’t work as I said before my previous statement the smoke generator is great. I like it when it works. The problem is the air pump is very cheap and quality is not good does not perform the way it should. Your smoke generator is excellent, but the air pump that powers it needs to be improved.. I don’t wanna send this back to get my money back from Amazon. I would rather just purchase a good air pump. Is there a way I can get partial reimbursement?
