Purchased as a replacement for my ageing knife set which was long past it's best and has started to degrade on the plastic handles/blade area. I went for the 3 set of knives as I don't need a block of knives, but the two smaller ones also appealed for a small extra cost.The set arrived in a nice presentation case complete with a magnetic closure, some instructions on care and a no quibble 2 year warranty. It's important to note that this set should not be cleaned in the dishwasher that's partly down to the handles which use Pakka Wood (this is a combination of engineered wood/plastic and provides more water resistance as well as resisting splitting and cracking which could be a problem on natural wood handles). I don't find that a problem, but take care not to put the smaller ones in there by accident.Three sizes from the standard larger 8" Chef's knife, two smaller ones at 5" and 3.5". For me that's a useful combination to have as smaller vegetables can be easily cut with the shorter knives. The mid sized 5" blade is thinner in height and could be used as a fillet knife (though a little shorter than some it's more than up to the job)Out of the box the knives are quite sharp, perhaps a touch off optimal sharpness though good enough to get to use straight away. All three blades have thick spines so dealing with cutting on thicker or harder items isn't going to flex the blades. Since getting these I've been using them much more frequently as the cutting is far better than the old set I had. No obvious weak points here bar the lack of dishwasher cleaning. After use I rinse them off and dry them by hand, with some care this set should last a long time. Worth picking up a sharpener for these I have a mixed blade ceramic one which was fairly inexpensive. There are cheaper knives around, and more expensive ones too - with this set I wanted good quality knives and that's exactly what I got. A superb set and a nice balance between quality and price.

Slight damage on the box that came with the knives. The knives seem good quality, felt good in the hand, came reasonably sharp, and should sharpen up well over time.

Truly professional knives, easy to sharpen with nice thin blades and very well made and finish is very good.

sad thing is they arrived withe some kind of stains or dirt on the blade that was lucky easy to clean just don't understand how it's happened because the box was nice and clean

Very nice set of knives, great quality. My boyfriend has always wanted a nice set of kitchen knives as he loves to cook, and I think these will do just the trick.

Really good set of knives.The chefs knife has excellent weighting and feels very comfortable after a couple of days of use.

The knives look and feel good quality. The gift box was damaged on arrival which is very annoying as it's a birthday gift!!

Knives's come not really sharp, but handle seems to be very good quality. I hope that they will stay sharp long time. 5*
