Great product, easy to use and put together out the box, nice tank sizes, really made a difference to my carpets, no leakages and look good. Recommend this if your carpets are looking dirty, then to do quarterly to maintain the clean feel of the carpet.

We are a busy household with 3 children a dog and 5 cats. After 5yrs our living room carpet was filthy and dull. I debated a long time over getting a carpet cleaner and took my time in choosing which machine would be best for our home. I’m so glad that I chose this one. Delivery was fast, the machine itself was easy to assemble from the box. It came with 2 free carpet solutions and lots of different attachments making it versatile to also use on stairs and upholstery. Although the machine feels heavy it is no harder to use as a vacuum cleaner when in use and it’s so simple to use too. I like the trigger feature on the handle, so you can control when to release the solution and also do extra dry runs to remove as much of the water/solution from your carpet as possible. I’m really impressed with the results from just one deep clean after 5 years it will need another full deep clean to get our carpet looking totally fresh again. It did take longer than an hour for it to dry. But this was expected after such a deep clean. I highly recommend this machine. Money well spent indeed.

I am very happy I bought this carpet cleaner. Our carpets are 9 years old and beige so they show a lot of dirt and traffic marks. We decided to buy a carpet cleaner because it's more cost-efficient than hiring one, and we aren't ready to change the carpets yet.The cleaner was very easy to assemble and to use. It covers quite a good size area at any one time so you don't feel like it takes too long to do one room. The suction power is good and you can really see a difference in the carpet once you've finished. An amazing point is that the carpets dry quickly, ours were dry after about 45 minutes.It's quite comfortable to use, it feels just like using a normal hoover. It's very sturdy and quite heavy but does glide well.The cleaner is quite big and bulky, luckily we have a garage we can store it in, but you expect this because it is a hefty piece of equipment. It looks quite nice too, I love the fact that you can clearly see what the cleaner has sucked up.My only negative is that you have to change the water so frequently, I don't know if there is a reason that the tank is not bigger. But then again, it is quite satisfying pouring the dirt away.The price is absolutely fantastic for what it is and I would highly recommend it.

Purchased this Carpet Cleaner as a family member has 1 and reviews.My 1st time using a carpet cleaner, so it was all new to me.Easy to assemble, plenty of cord length, fine sturdy machine not flimsy, despite all the plastic.Filled it with the amount stated of warm water and Vax cleaner fluid.Did a super job, both in cleaning and rinsing.Great suction left nothing behind.Extra squirt of water jet very handy.Very easy clean and remove parts, regarding the removal of the fluff that lodges in the front of head after use, rather than disassemble, I unplugged and put the head over the bath and used the shower head to rinse it all out while still wet, did the job.Did not give a star rating for stairs, as I have not yet used it on them.Have not yet used all the extras that came with it.Overall, very pleased with this Vax Carpet Cleaner and would recommened it.

I noticed a few people not totally happy with this machine. In reply to a few points made id like to say first its not heavy, yes it has a bit of weight to it but much lighter than the first one I had (that has just packed up after 12 years of use) and it is very easy to push round, I have a very bad back and I was fine with it although as everything I do I have to do in stages. Secondly, you can get the soggy fluff out of it quite easily by taking the top plastic piece off above the brushes then just press on the brush roller and turn anti clockwise and the brushes pull the soggy stuff out, doing that totally cleared mine, just don't let it build up to a rediculous amount. I love the fact you put the water in the top tank and there is a compartment to put the shampoo into aswell and it mixes it for you as you go along. There were comments about it being loud but that doesn't bother me and its only slightly louder than my vacuum cleaner. There is a wash and rinse dial on the front of the water tank so you can rinse the carpet after shampooing if you wish, there is also another dial on the front you can turn to choose deep clean or quick clean. You also can remove the dirty water tank without having to remove the clean water one. It has a good length lead too. I did a bit of research to find the best and looking at a top 10 list the first 9 were Vax.The picture of my carpet just shows how good it is and im very happy with my purchase. One last thing incase you don't know, when its delivered you have to give the driver a code number which will be on your order even if you are home you need this. If you want it left somewhere fill out the form on your order with instructions and the driver can ring you, get the number then leave it where you requested, without that its a no go.

Relatively easy to put together out of the box.Does a good job cleaning carpets pretty impressed with how well it did on some old carpet.The down side is, while it is fairly easy to take apart to clean it, it is a bit of a faff and takes a considerable amount of time. Knowing this, I can picture not using it as often as planned and think most people may end up feeling the same.My free time is limited and I think if I had known just how much cleaning of the vacuum was required after use, I probably would have opted to pay someone once a year to do them for me.If you have the time and patience then I would say it's a good choice as the carpets do come back to life.
