My first fight pad in general and it's been pretty good to me. Buttons are responsive and have a nice clicky sound if you're into that. Mainly use it for Tekken and it's gotten me to do combos I would otherwise have issues executing with a console controller. Great purchase for me since I mainly use the d-pad over analog. Only thing better would be if I could swap out the button pads with something that could show what button I'm pressing (X, Square, Triangle, etc). Other than that, pretty happy with my purchase.

Great look and feel to these buttons. Vastly quieter than the undampened leverless controller I was using before. Unlike some excessively large fightsticks and leverless controllers, the LP and LK are close enough together you can throw with one finger.

I am loving this thing. The design the buttons the size it's pretty awesome. However there is an 8 minute time out that occurs when I play. I have updated the latest firmware done everything everyone says to do and still get an 8 minute authentication time out.. it says if you connect an officially licensed Playstation controller that this shouldn't happen but it still does even after I do that.. it's a little frustrating I ordered a separate 40$ haute adapter that I'm really hoping resolves the issue otherwise will have to send both products back sadly. If I can figure the 8 minute time out issue this would be a perfect 5 star rated product for me.. if I figure it out and the adapter I ordered fixes I'll change reviews to 5 stars..

Very nice controller, feels good to use and fits my hands well, configuration options are very nice too; however, after only a few months of usage the USB-C port seems to have begun to malfunction. This has been causing semi-frequent disconnects in the middle of game-play. I have used this controller on many different devices and with different cables and the issues still occur. When it works it feels very nice, but getting randomly disconnected has been incredibly frustrating to deal with.

I have been using a arcade stick for the longest time when playing fighting games, and old school arcade games. I have always been curious about the leverless control boxes. What I noticed right away is how thin the controller is. Compared to my fight stick I could pry stack 5 or 6 of these on top of each other to get about the thickness of my fight stick. The construction is solid and its a nice thick acrylic with very tactile buttons surrounded with subtle RGB lighting. There is a small oled screen on the top left to know you what mode you are in and what buttons are being pressed. The controller itself functions very well. There is a slight learning curve because the absence of a actual joystick but you are able to overcome that fairly easily if you every played games using a keyboard. The buttons are laid out on the board in a way to make combos of button presses easy for each finger. I have used this with ps5 and pc without any issues. I have put in a lot of hours into Marvel vs. Capcom 2 with this and its worked flawlessly. I can recommend this to anyone if you are looking to get into alternatives to pad controller. Its easy to pic up and with the layout will probably improve your combos and gameplay.

Out of the handful of leverless arcade controllers that I have ordered, this Haute42 R16 is the trickiest to use. The reasons for this being the large number of buttons it has, and the lack of labeling for them. However, this could also be due to the fact that I'm still getting used to playing with this style of controller. I'm sure most people will already be familiar with it though, and will probably be adding custom artwork. So far, I've only been using this arcade controller to do some retro gaming. I'm playing on a Windows 11 PC, using RetroArch. For testing, I played a few different games: Super Street Fighter II (SNES), Streets of Rage 3 (GEN), Mortal Kombat 3 (GEN), and TMNT: Turtles in Time (SNES). While I did have some trouble at first, I feel like I'm gradually getting better. In particular, performing special moves in the fighting games is very easy now.This Haute42 R16 is well constructed, and has a very compact design. Thanks to the sufficient weight and bottom grips, it remains in perfect position throughout play. I especially like the RGB lighting around the buttons, and how easy it is to change effects. The buttons themselves are super responsive, and the layout of them is nicely done. In addition, there's plenty of room leftover on the board for me to rest my hands. Lastly, I didn't run into any issues, such as input delay. Overall, I found this Haute42 R16 leverless arcade controller to be remarkable quality, and I had a lot of fun with it. Highly recommended!

Looks and feels great to use; feels a little flimsy when I pick up from the side with a one hand but that's likely due to the controller essentially being a circuit board in between two plexiglass feeling panelsOtherwise, it feels well made I just make sure to gingerly handle it when picking it up
