This is fundamentally a good old fashioned heat lamp with some settings you can adjust to make it more infrared therapeutic. That said, the device is tall and top-heavy and doesn't really have a base to manage the bulb's weightAlso, as someone who is heavily into red light therapy, the settings are massive overkill. You can, in fact, give yourself too much NIR light: it makes your skin turn red and feel sore. This device is about as powerful as my MitoRed half body panel, but the MitoRed panel can't run for more than 20 minutes, and this device treats a relatively small area in comparison. Letting this run for an hour at potentially 250+ watts will significantly over-treat where you aim it. My guess is that most people will want to start around power 3 to 5 and treat for 10 minutes or less.

The media could not be loaded. I was sent a blown/broke light. I put it all together. No missing pieces. The buttons turned on but when I removed the bulb out of Styrofoam...i shook it and heard the fuse rollin around inside. So the bulb didnt break- the inside did. So I tried writing them to see if they send a new bulb so I can actually try it! I bought this for a lady going thru cancer, she's been so excited. It arrived and she then got told- sorry, bulb doesn't work.

Good product, easy assembly, attentive customer service. The lamp has a few leaves of intensity and a timer , which are great futures!

I Had to send it back as it was broken on arrival. I wasn’t that impressed with the product overall so I didn’t reorder.

I am seriously impressed with this lamp.I've had it for several months now and it has become a permanent fixture in my room because I'm always using it for something.Assembly was super simple and takes less than 10 minutes. This unit is solid and beyond sturdy.I have had issues before with these lights that has adjustable necks falling over, but not this one. I can literally adjust this in any way and not worry about the lamp falling over. I do want to mention that the only thing I had a little trouble with was getting the protective cage over the light itself. It's easy to move around (thanks to the wheels) and adjust to just the right spot for some relaxing therapy.Operation is super simple. Plug it in, set the time and the light intensity. I wish there was an on/off button though. When this is plugged in, but the light is not on, the control pad flashes red. It's a bit annoying but not terrible.This is no wimpy light- it is the real deal.This pumps out some super sizzling heat- even at level 5. It really does warm the surface of the skin, immediately and you can feel that heat start to sink down below the surface. It's great for sore muscles and achy bones. I have never experienced any ill effect from the light either.I am in love with this.Excellent quality, easy to use and beyond helpful! WIN!
