as described good radioworks well but on full power it transmits for aprox 2/3 sec then just shuts down and wont swich back on( as if the battey had been removed? )this hapends even on a fresh fully charged batteryit works fine on the lower power settings, so its not the radio , its a battery issuestill good for what we need . but we will have to get some better batterys for it at some pointworth 5 stars for the radio but the battery lets it down

Having Got My New Radio I Noticed Every Time I Pressed The Ptt Button With The Power On High The Radio Would Cut Out Completely I Would Have To Put It On The Charger To Get It To Come Back On That Was The 1st Problem The 2nd Problem Was When I Had The Roger Tone On Instead Of Hearing The Tone I Would Get A Strange Buzzz Sound It Only Did That On The UHF Band Though Not The VHF Band, I Thought The Radio Cutting Out Was Maybe A Bad Battery So I Put On A New One And NO It Was The Radio, So Returned It Won't Be Buying Another.

The radios are good with all the functions but unfortunately our two radios have a flaw, they shutdown when you put them in high power mode, there was a couple of intermittent issues as well, unfortunately I can’t trust these radios for prolonged use, hence the return.
