The media could not be loaded. I bought this evaporative cooler for my greenhouse and it is working well.My greenhouse is 6 x 8 so 48 Square feet. Just slightly more than the 43 ft.² the cooler is meant to cool.I have found it does three things for me.1. On the warmer days, it cools the greenhouse 6–8°.2. My greenhouse tends to have low humidity when it is hot outside and this is good for adding the humidity to the desired 60–70%.3. The humidity with the nights cool tends to keep the greenhouse about 8° warmer for longer.My greenhouse is uninsulated and I am in zone 3, so the temperatures have been varying from 50° to 110° in the greenhouse otherwise. So far I have been able to keep the temperature is topped out at about 90 though I suspect that will be a bit more of a challenge in the warmer months of July and August.I plugged the unit into a thermostatically controlled outlet along with the fan so when the fan kicks in the unit starts. When the fan quits the unit quits. So far I have to add water to it only once a day as long as I start with the water filled at the beginning of the day.So far I have to add water to it only once a day as long as I start with the water filled at the beginning of the day.The unit tells you the temperature of the air coming into the unit and the temperature going out which tends to vary 6–10°. You cannot set the desired temperature on the unit but the bottom line is that it does what it says it is going to do.Unlike others, I have had no problem with leakage. As long as you fill the reservoir and don’t tip the unit, it is fine. I use something with a watering spout to put the water in and that works well.I am completely satisfied with this unit and definitely would recommend it for either personal use or a small greenhouse.

I live in a large studio with high ceilings in a big city that gets really hot in the summertime. My portable AC unit gave out and I didn't want to replace it. At the end of its days, it was working pretty terribly to begin with. I split my time between my place, my office, and my boyfriend's place. I bought the EvaLight and turned it on last night. Not only did it cool off my living room, it also cooled off my bedroom area when I turned it towards that area, and kept it cool all night. I just ordered an EvaChill so I can cool the place down even more. I have the windows open and a ceiling fan going and it has been more than reasonable in my apartment with the EvaLight despite it being hot outside. I'm not getting another portable AC unit.

I have sensory issues and cannot tolerate the 80-100 degree temps my coffin-sized apartment gets almost year round so I bit the billet and purchased this overpriced swamp cooler. I say cooler lightly since it’s just slightly colder than skin temp moist water blowing on you for about a couple hours until the water runs out (nowhere close to the 8 hours they promise). You’re left feeling sticky and gross which is better than dying of heat exhaustion I guess.Another let down is the fact that this “touch screen system” isn’t a touch screen at all… it’s a button with a ring slider that you move manually. Their marketing led me to believe it would have some swanky touch screen system but it’s archaic. I owned the smaller Evapolar (also a rip-off) and it has basically the exact same mechanics and features. They added a little LED screen and some primeval color customization to try and justify the $60 markup.I seem so negative which begs the question as to why I’m keeping it:1) They use basalt, which is apparently safe for breathing. No other swamp cooler on Amazon mentions anything about their internal materials being safe for breathing so that scared me into placing my trust in this company (I’m immunocompromised).2) My apartment refuses to install AC and I have no compatible windows for a portable AC unit so I’m stuck with using swamp coolers.If you are able to use a portable AC unit, do that. If you’re not immunocompromised and don’t care about breathing other materials, choose any other swamp cooler. They all looked much bigger and more powerful at competitive prices. Just don’t get this joke of a “cooling” system.

I'm very analytical about things.. done a lot of research about this brand. which is very highly rated. Everything can as promised in 2 days UPS. Easy to set up and understand. For the most part well built. I dropped the water tank on a wood floor and held up well. As for a personal space cooler, it works very well. Office or desk or even outside by a chair. After plugging it in the output temperature output dropped 10 degrees (72 to 62)) in 12 minutes I haven't tried it in a car setting, so not sure of the outcome.

I live in an older house in east texas which isn't sealed well and have an ac that just can't keep up with this summer. I've been using my ceiling fan plus a vornado fan and still I've been sweating through my clothes multiple times a day. After reading reviews of this portable ac on multiple sites, I hesitantly gave it a shot. The big takeaways from the reviews were to use it close to you and not expect it to cool a room. Well it far exceeded all expectations. Within the first 2-3 hours of use my entire room dropped 5 degrees. Now that I'm using it regularly, I'm able to maintain a cooler temp in my room overall that's lower than the rest of the house (my room used to be the hottest room in the house). I have chronic illnesses/pain so I'm in bed A LOT and also prone to getting hot easily because of medications. This portable ac has made life tolerable again for me. There really are no words to express how much it has helped... especially in triple digit temps. I'll 100% be getting more of these once I'm able to.
