Fun machine
I initially got into espresso with a delonghi linea classica which is an entry level machine that costs about 250 bucks. I enjoyed watching videos and buying upgraded portafilters and tamps and other accessories. I like level of involvement in making my own coffee drinks. However I’m no barista by any means and ended up getting frustrated a lot and made many mistakes. I came across this machine and it took a lot of frustration away. The brew assist was a big help. Although I’m not trained on what notes to look for in my coffee I buy freshly roasted whole beans which makes a huge impact. I typically add a double shot to my coffee in the mornings and it makes my coffees taste amazing. I love how I can still be hands on with my coffee making in the morning. Whenever we have guests over I love being able to make cappuccinos or espresso drinks for them, and they love how well everything tastes.I’ve had absolutely no issues with this machine. I’ve owned it for a few months now and it makes me look forward to getting up every morning to brew a shot of espresso. I was a little hesitant on a consumer type of machine like this but it has been great. Takes a lot of my novice guesswork out of the picture and allows me to make fun, delicious drinks. We have a small butlers pantry and it fits perfect in that small area. I believe in time I may step up my game and add on another “pro-Sumer” espresso machine in the future, but this Ninja Luxe will always maintain to be my main staple for brewing amazing tasting coffee drinks.

Buy it.
One of my favorite purchases of the year. Worth it. Haven't been to Starbucks since. This machine is so much easier than others. The only thing I would mention is that you might want to buy a separate bean grinder to use on the side in case you want to have two kinds ground at once. For example, we have a regular Dunkin donuts bean in our espresso hopper right now, but we also have a decaf bean in a cheap little grinder in case we want to have decaf in the evenings. One more thing - water from the reservoir collects into the drip tray and we don't understand why. Have looked for answers on the web but haven't found. My husband thinks it should cost them a star.

Great machine, great value, great coffee
We have been dedicated Breville users for years. When our grinder finally died we found ourselves in the market for something new. After reading reviews we decided to give this a try. You cannot get the same customizations that come from the human touch that the Breville allows, but if you just want a good espresso drink without any effort, this is the machine for you. I am surprised with how quiet the machine runs, both during the grind and brew cycles. While I wish there was less plastic overall, the parts that you want to be metal are. For this price point, you cannot find a better machine.

Worth Every Penny!!
I was nervous to purchase this machine. I was willing to invest for a good machine but wasn’t sure if it was as user friendly as all the reviews stated. Let me tell you, this is worth every penny. It’s so easy to use, versatile, and performs well. I rarely stop at Starbucks anymore when I can make it at home. I’ve had this for almost 5 months and I don’t have a single complaint.

Best Home-Brewed Cup O' Coffee Ever
Back in 2014, a friend recommended that I invest in a Breville Barista. At the time it was a $799 machine, but I got it on sale for $699. It turned out to be one of the best purchases I ever made. I loved that machine for years. It was solid, well-built, and made a good cup of coffee. But after a decade of daily use, I think we finally wore it out. It started having issues and, between the wear and tear, so I pulled the plug about a month ago. When I started browsing Amazon to see what coffee machines are going for these days, I stumbled across the Ninja. I liked the way looked, had great features, and the price was surprisingly good. I ordered it and it showed up overnight. It's a tank! It's beautifully finished, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Honestly, it feels like it should cost twice as much. It even asks you to test your water hardness so it can adjust itself to brew the perfect cup. I spent some time setting it up last night but didn’t finish. This morning, I dialed in the recommended grind for my Lavazza organic beans and made my first cup. This is hands down the best cup of coffee I’ve ever made at home! I’m beyond impressed! It looks amazing on my counter, feels like a luxury machine, and I can already tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with it for years to come. I highly recommend!

Multipurpose good but frother does not make uniform froth in the cup overall makes good espresso
I have had a breville non grinder espresso machine for the last eight years and this one makes life much simpler. I love it though it does have different rythms to some degree. One thing which keeps it from 5 stars from me is the frothing tends to froth only at the bottom and does not make a smooth, uniform froth. To resolve that one minor thing I have ordered a separate battery operated frother with the same sort of device that is on the bottom but which can add to the frothing at the top when the machine frothing is done. Otherwise I like the convenience and it makes nice espresso which making lattes and cappucino's is my only interest. No more separate grinder.

Just… wow
Ok so before this I had the espresso and coffee maker from ninja but that recently died on me and stopped working. So I decided to up my coffee game. Today was the first day I brewed a cup and wow! I thought I was a seasoned coffee person. I drink coffee with a shot or two in it so I tried that today and the taste is so much better. This machine does it all!

So much better than expected
I’ve own a $1000 Breville for years, I was nervous to get this because I felt may be a down grade. And boy was I WRONG! The ninja makes an absolutely amazing cup of espresso with nearly no effort on my part. The components are much easier to clean, the machine itself seems strong and durable when using it. While it’s a bit taller than the Breville it does take up less counter space. The hidden side storage was a welcome surprise. We are extremely pleased and so glad when made the upgrade.
