This serum has been a total skin-saver! I’ve struggled with redness for a while, and after just a week of using the Prequel, I saw a noticeable difference. This serum wowed me! It takes away so much redness in my face I actually have never been this neutral! I can see freckles I didn't know I had. I would buy this again and again. The texture is night and smooth, soft and cooling. I think the value this offers for the cost is very fair as I only apply it when needed, not even every day.

I love the product. I did notice less redness over time. I dislike the packaging and volume amount. The opaque heavy glass bottle prevents you from seeing and feeling how much product you have until you just plain run out when you go to use it. It also ran out alot quicker than the Vitamin C serum I bought at the same time that is supposed to be the same volume. Following directions on the bottles, I used 2 pumps of each once a day. My vitamin C serum is still going (you can't tell how much is in that bottle either) and I've been out of the redness relief for two weeks. So the pump dispensers must not be equal. Just something to be aware of. Im sure the fact that it's a cream (redness relief) versus a serum (vit C) makes a difference as well. I feel like the redness relief should be sold in a higher volume.

Bottles with pumps are my preferred packaging for face products. This serum is too thick for the pump bottle; it doesn't come out well, and I have to shake the bottle to get the pump to reach into the cream and work. Luckily it is the kind of a pump where you can unscrew the top and get into the container. As far as observable effects of the serum, I didn't notice it was affecting my rosacea flare-up or reducing redness. I just used it as a serum under a calming day cream. It absorbs very quickly.

If you are looking for redness reduction, this product ACTUALLY works. I've been looking far and wide. From cheap to expensive. This is a great middle ground and gets the job done.

I got this on the recommendation of a friend and her aesthetician. I have a little bit of redness on my nose that I was hoping to heal and liked several of the key ingredients in this product. I was happy to find that the texture of the serum is Light almost gel like and smooth.Unfortunately, for me, it caused an angry, red itchy rash. I have tiny bumps all over my cheeks and chin. It started on the third time that I used the product with feeling like my skin was dry, but it continued to be itchy throughout the day when I took off my make up my face was bright red underneath with a tiny rash texture. It is still angry and itchy, and I’m not sure what to put on it to calm back down, especially given that this product was supposed to be calming in the first place. I gave it to stars because the texture is nice and the product seemed to be helping my friend so my problem might be individual.

Did not correct the redness on my cheeks. Would not recommend.
