Very comfortable. Wide toe box. Great value. Holding up well so far.

The boots are comfortable and they are a wider fit than your average boot but apart from that the are terrible. They are completely not waterproof. I wore them for 6 hours in light drizzle, walking through shallow puddles during that time. My toes were wet within an hour and after 6 my feet were completely saturated. The boots then took a few days to dry out.They would be functional just as non-waterproof boots but you have the extra weight and bulk of the (useless) goretex liner as well as the fact that they are slow to dry.I also found them to be quite slippery on wet rock, gravel, etc.Don't waste your time or money... Other wide fitting boots are available elsewhere. I got sorted in Decathlon for only a few pounds more, with something much sturdier, that has a 2 year guarantee and a claim that it is 24 hours waterproof.(The returns process for this was also misleading as I was told that I would not need to package the item... The lady at the post office told me that this was a mistake on Amazons part and that they couldn't accept unpackaged goods)

Now I would give this product 5 star,They look nice are lightweight and mobile, waterproof and I will be using them regularly.But a week after having the product one of the loops on top of the tongue has snapped and loose. Considering there expensive I would expect a solid construction.So I'll knock a star off for that.

Yeah I should have remembered. I had a pair of these 2 years year and as a lot of you are finding out they dont do wet grass but then after 3 years of trying the only boots I can find that do wet grass are wellingtons but you try walking 5 miles in wellies everyday!Anyway besides that I risked trying them again and yep they have already cracked at the toe and Ive not warn them everyday because the weather has been mainly dry since purchasing, however these are advertised as Hiking boots so by that very definition you walk in them for long periods of time, no? So again not fit for purpose, comfortable yes, need breaking in no, nice looking but totally flawed design and material choice. DO NOT BUY! If I'd brought them from a shoe shop as I did before I could have taken them back again they have 12 month returns but on here Na! Great boots. Fully waterproof. Comfortable straight out the box. I returned my normal size & went half size down. Great price

This is my second pair of these boots. Like other reviewers my first pair lasted 3 years during which they were used almost daily including summer Munroe walking. Hence the reason I bought a second pair once the first pair had worn out after a hard life. However this pair bought only 4 months ago and have had very little use over the winter are falling apart. The leather is cracked and split and the sole is pulls away from the uppers. I suspect something has changed in the manufacturing chain for cost cutting purposes for the two pairs to be so dramatically different in standard. The photo of the trad pattern shows how little use they have had. Sadly will not be buying again as the first pair were great.

Ideal for walking over rough ground. They’re waterproof and comfortable with plenty of support. They’re easy to remove insole and replace with orthotics.
