Very user-friendly, simple instructions, and it works! Before ceramic coating, I had a 92 reading and after the ceramic coating, I had a 99 reading. This demonstrates the increased gloss after the ceramic coating.

I'm not using this professionally but really to check my car finish after detailing, so I can't say how accurate this thing really is. Without another device to compare it to I just don't have any way of knowing. That said, it does give me consistent and repeatable measurements which gives me a series of useful measurements, no matter if it's accurate compared to the actual units it purports to measure. For me, and for most people, that's all we need and it works great for what I'm using it for.

Ok I want to start this off by saying I am NOT qualified to talk on the accuracy of this, I am not using this for professional purposes I got this because it looked fun, and damnit if it isn't a blast! It is so much fun to go around checking the glossiness of things, tap it to your forehead, your dogs nose, the wall, a mirror, your phone, it's so much fun to explore the world around through the lens of reflectivity!
