Animated adventure featuring characters from Lego's 'Hero Factory' product line. When Rocka (voice of Tom Kenny) answers a distress call from banished professor Aldous Witch (Fred Tatasciore) he finds himself under attack on the planet Quatros. Stormer (John Schneider), Furno (Eric Christian Olsen), Bulk (Christopher B. Duncan), Stringer (Stephen Stanton) and Nex (Jason Canning) head out from the Hero Factory to save Rocka but when they reach Quatros they discover that Aldous Witch has transformed into the evil Witch Doctor and plans to destroy the planet. The Heroes must work together to defeat the Witch Doctor and save Quatros.

Fantastic movie!
This is a fantastic movie and our kids love it. The trusted LEGO Hero Factory characters get super animal upgrades and do battle against the evil Witch Doctor and a host of villains. The animation is brilliant and the dialogue fast and witty as you'd expect from LEGO. My only disgruntlement is that this movie used to be viewable on LEGO's website, but I don't resent having to purchase it on DVD as the graphics look so much better on the TV. The kids watch the movie (while leaping about) then run off and role play elements of the movie and then spend hours with their Hero Factory box creating new and interesting variations on the basic Hero Factory model kits! And as HF is compatible with the old Bionicle range, all their old sets add in to the mix brilliantly. Far from mindless entertainment, the movie is a platform for exploration through play. Love it!

Excellent childrens entertainment
Having tried out The Padawan Menace / The Empire Strikes Out double dvd on my 6 year old grandson, and found them an instant hit, I gave him Savage Planet as he had already built several of the Lego characters this dvd portrayed. As with the first dvd's, he has watched it several times, and now has his viewing strictly limited by my daughter! A sure hit dvd (this one mainly for boys) for those rainy days.

Kept me son quiet (which is very rare ha)
My son asked for this and i had never heard of it. He has watched it so many times now that i lost count. I havent seen it still so cant comment on the film itself but it certainly keeps my little boy quiet and happy

Lego Hero Factory Savage Planet DVD
This is Region 1 but plays on Sony PS3 Brilliant a good follow up to the Heroes'. One can understand how the weapons work and the roles of the Heroes' and their enemies. My grandson is 7 and I'm an OAP, excuse me, senior citizen but I just love these toys and DVD.

Bought other Hero Factory DVD's and my little boy (4 years old) loves them all. Only wish there were more than 2/3. Well worth purchasing as not to agressive (and for us) a change from Power Rangers

This is for a hero factory lover
And lover he is, considering how much we spent on the Hero Factory. With all these DVDs, they're really into it and then they cast them aside for months and month. It's the time they're occupied watching it makes it well worth it. And I have to say the quality of animation had improved a great deal!
