Best done with an adult
This book does seem to have appropriate activities for the intended age range of 6-9 but is definitely a partner/group activity to do with a parent. The tag "40 fun activities...." I think is also a bit misleading as this really is a workbook that mostly needs to be done in order and some of the "activities" are emotionally difficult. Overall, it has a lot of good content, but know what you're getting into.

For Kids and Adults
Building self-esteem and confidence is important for kids as well as Adults and this book is a great tool for that. I went over this book with all of my kids. I like the activities because it was different for each of my kids and it helped me as a parent learn more about my kids. I really feel like in order for kids and Adults to be very successful confidence and determination are very important. I really recommend this book.

Great self esteem resource
My 6 year old is too young to go through this by herself, but we’ve been using the activities and prompts to talk about them together at dinner time and it’s been really helpful for having esteem-building conversations! And even though it’s technically for kids I think a lot of parents could benefit from doing the exercises from their own perspectives too :)

Wonderful workbook for kids!
Review of Self-Esteem Workbook for Kids: 40 Fun Activities to Feel Great about Yourself (Health and Wellness Workbooks for Kids). My 8 y.o. can be pretty hard on herself when she fails at things and we are always looking for new ways to encourage her self-reflection and recognition that the greatest value comes from her effort, not her achievements. I love that this book has all different types of activities, so she can choose a prompt that resonates best with her. It's also a very nice size, making it excellent for travel. With so much outside influence determining self-worth and personal value these days, I am grateful for any help I can get in helping my little one to become more confident and happy with herself :)

Nice for the Kids
A very nice, age appropriate workbook, with simple exercises to build up a child's self esteem. Working on this sort of thing can never start too early, especially with kids being back in school. So glad I found this.

Healthy vs. non healthy
I like this self-esteem workbook for kids. It breaks concepts down into different topics and gives a lovely overview before going into an exercise. It defines new terms and helps the reader understand before moving on. The book talks about healthy versus non healthy self esteem and how to navigate to the healthier side of things. It’s an attainable workbook and one even my child enjoys completing. After doing exercises, I have even heard my son say things like that’s an example of unhealthy self esteem while watching a show! Pleased with the break down for kids! The workbook is well made and there is plenty of room for writing as needed. The colors and page layouts are aesthetically pleasing which helps hold attention.
