it does what it says it does, they are really good for the tool kit and tyre repair stuff

It's not that universal, had to trim some metal off for it to fit with my luggage system

This is quiet an expensive accessory. And it must be noted that the fitting kit must be purchased separately to the box. It's good though and has a lock fitted. Not had chance to see it it is waterproof yet.Also note that if fitting to a Triumph Tiger 800 with the Givi made pannier racks you must position the top two brackets vertically by slackening the top clamp for the pannier - to allow the brackets to be bolted in place. NOT as per the Givi instructions that come with the fitting kit. Look on You Tube for fitting videos.

Personally I would expect a universal kit to contain parts to either fit, or enable to fit to all motorcycles with a bit of work. This kit was never going to work with my Suzuki V Strom 650 unless I either cut a hole in the toolbox I was trying to mount and rendering it scrap...or cutting the pannier mounting bracket off the bike and rendering the pannier frame scrap. The kits come with various plate shapes depending on application.... I consider that a Universal kit should really therefore by default come with ALL those plates to allow the best chance of fitment in a universal situation, the fact that it come with only one shape plate will always make it about as universal as trying to bang a square peg into a round hole...for some people it might work, but sadly for me not a chance in hell......

Excellent kit fitted well only downside is the price this has to be the most expensive bike tool box I’ve ever bought

After fitting brackets to bike the box would not fit behind bracket.very disappointed not enough information on what bikes they fit.

NOT “Universal” and not even as described. I have the PLO5143CAM frame on my BMW R1300GS and I assumed the description of the Kit fitting a PL__CAM frame would be ok. No. The left side bracket didn’t match the frame and the Tool Box was hitting the top of the frame. I had to lower the kit by cutting 25mm off the bottom brackets and drilling new holes. Then the plastic cover wouldn’t fit so that had to be trimmed. BUT – all now looking good and solid. Givi make good stuff, but their descriptions and crazy codes are a nuisance.

Small but enough to put necessary tools,Build quality 5stars,I installed it on Yamaha Super Tenere 2013 with no problems no modifications

Me ha gustado que todo es de gran calidad y de rápido montaje y montado en una xadv 2021 con soportes givi treeker.. Lo único que al hacer el pedido podría haber dado la numeración de la llave para el bombim para habrir todo con llave única..

Da ich nicht den von GIVI vorausgesetzten GIVI-Sturzbügel verwende, war basteln angesagt.
