Fiddly to fit, but was good when done in accordance with the instructions

I read a few reviews that said this item isn't very good but decided if installed carefully it might be OK. It wasn't. First problem came when opening the pack. The item is rolled and held by a piece of adhesive tape. Removing this stripped a portion of the shading from one end of the main film. It appeared that it might be long enough to remove that portion so I gave it a try.I prepared the screen EXACTLY as directed and used a premium glass cleaner to ensure the best possible surface. When trying to apply the strip to the screen it wouldn't cling long enough to smooth it all on, let alone get it positioned as required. I got someone to help me. With four hands we still couldn't get it to hold longer than a couple of seconds.If this product fell off the windscreen while driving the distraction could be very dangerous, especially at high speed. Avoid it.

No long enough! If I didn't have a mirror fitted to the windscreen to cut around it would have been short. Plus there's no extra to make cutting errors. I added a picture of wastage and you can see there not much left. I used the turned in section in the middle of the roll to fill in gap. I fitted it to a Seat Ateca which is in the same family of a VW Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq

I bought a couple of these for my cars. They stuck for a couple of days but fell off. I knew as I was sticking them on they weren't going to last I put them on properly and wiped the area before putting them there. They are poorly made the quality is crap and not worth wasting your money on so do not buy them.

This goes on ok. Quite alot of water sprayed on makes it very slippy, unadhesive, and too little sticks faster but more difficult to slide into place and difficult to get rid of bubbles. My main complaint is that the graduation from darker to light is poor. It goes dark, then light, then dark before fading to light. Not impressed with the quality. But, its cheap.
