Love this new tamagotchi the battery did die quickly and could do with a little lightening on the screen viewing as becomes dark in low light places but all in all I love this

Very disappointing- The child it was bought for loved it but the battery ran out after 2 days. replaced battery on several occasions but all ran out in a short time. Absolutely would not buy this product as there is obviously a fault.

I bought my Tamagotchi a few weeks ago and have used it daily since then. It's great fun, I feel like a kid again! The device works very well and the buttons are really responsive. I would recommend buying more batteries alongside it as mine only lasted about a week. My only issue is that the screen is dark, and I have trouble making out the screen even under a light. In the UK with not much sunlight that isn't great. I hope in the future they will change the contrast.

The tamagotchi itself is very fun to use, and the fact that it comes in a two-pack is great. However, despite having read some reviews mentioning battery life before purchasing I am quite disappointed at how frequently the battery needs replacement indeed. It's happened twice on the pink one and three times on the blue one. Each time I replaced with a brand new high quality battery, and even tried to keep the sound off to prolong battery life... To no avail! So just something to keep in mind if you're thinking of buying it.

Very nostalgic, I'm happy these got re-released, I'm really enjoying it. However, I keep getting a message telling me the battery has died, even after I change the battery I get the same message, particularly when I'm playing a mini- game and the buttons are a bit delayed.
