They're all mostly the same. But this one is good.
UPDATE 06/14/24: The review below was based on the reader's first couple of uses when I originally received it. It has not moved or been used since then. I recently needed to do a digital signature with my CAC so I put my card in and... nothing. Unplugged the reader, plugged it back in, restarted the computer, etc. but nothing worked. Plugged my old one in and it fired right up. I don't know what happened between then and now, but the reader seems to be dead. Updating the stars to reflect that.-- Original Review --Look through the pages of listings for these card readers. There's only a couple of styles, they all look pretty much the same. The company doesn't really matter, they're likely all manufactured at the same warehouse in China and stamped with the company name du jour. At any rate, I've had this vertical style model for about 6 years and it still works great, but it doesn't collapse or anything, so shoving it in a backpack isn't the easiest. This new one looks a little nicer with the gloss black exterior, and works just as well. The desk footprint is slightly bigger than the vertical style, but not by a whole lot, so it's still convenient. And like I said, it travels better. It comes with a CD. I assume that it's some kind of driver software, although Windows recognizes the device without any intervention from me. There's no label on the CD, and I'm not just going to pop in a random blank CD from China, so my assumption will go unverified.

It works easily...
It works perfectly. Like someone else said, there is a little disc included but I did not put it in my computer, nor did I need to because the reader worked as soon as I plugged it in. You don't have to download a driver or anything. Excellent quality.
