Great. Who would have know.
Had no idea something like this even existed. I chucked a pair of Nikes out a month ago as a hole had developed in my right runner. Mentioned this to someone in the gym & I was told about this item. I have now used in all my runners.

Not as advertised and over-priced. Use a needle and thread instead.
These will patch the hole in your shoe, runner or trainer but it will not make it look like new as per the advertised image. Also its not meshed as per advertised. It's basically a black cloth sticker and very noticeable. My advice it to cut the sticker to a size a fraction larger than the hole to make it less noticeable or better still just buy the same color thread and sow it up instead. There's multiple instructional videos on youtube and you can always stick the patch on the inside to add support so the hole doesn't re-appear.

black velvety stickers
The stickers in this pack are velvety on one side and sticky on the other side. The listing says the material is leather, but doesn't feel anything like leather. It feels like faux velvet. The listing descirbes these patches as "mesh" but they are not mesh-like in any way. They are solid. The stickers are black so if you want them to be less noticeable, they'll work best with black coloured shoes.Note that if you stick them inside the shoe, the interior may feel less comfortable. If you stick them on the exterior, it may be noticeable that you've patched it up because the shoe will suddenly have a velvet black patch on it. I haven't figured out if there's a way to attach these that will look more discrete.I did try these out on the bottom of a shoe that had a hole in it and after 2 days of walking in these shoes, the sticker started coming off. It doesn't seem to be very long lasting in its adhesion.I also used them to patch up a non-shoe object (an office chair armrest) that had a tear in it, and again, the stickers started coming away and looking tatty after a few weeks.
