Combat your foot pain and discomfort with these thin yet effective orthotic inserts. Equipped with semi-rigid arch support, soft foam metatarsal pads, deep heel cups, and genuine leather top covers, the Emsold Ultra Thin Orthotics are designed to relieve your pain and discomfort. If the bottom of your foot is inflamed and you are experiencing the intense heel pain associated with Plantar Fasciitis, these inserts are designed to alleviate your symptoms by providing support of your medial arch. The deep heel cup design can help prevent mild pronation and/or supination by keeping your foot in proper alignment; thus preventing your foot from rolling in or out during the gait cycle. The raised metatarsal pads included in these orthotics will provide support of the transverse arch and help spread and support the metatarsal heads to relieve pain associated with Metatarsalgia (Capsulitis), Morton’s Neuroma, and other conditions causing pain in the forefoot area or under the balls of your feet. These shoe insert pads have a biomechanically correct design with integrated metatarsal pads for your foot. You can be on your feet all day and experience a whole new level of comfort. The genuine leather cover wicks away moisture caused by perspiration and helps to maintain a healthier and drier environment. As well as being comfortable, the leather cover keeps a durable barrier between your foot and the semi-rigid plastic insole beneath it. Do not let Plantar Fasciitis or Metatarsalgia limit your activities and keep you sidelined. You can return to the active life you’ve always wanted with these functional orthotic shoe inserts from Emsold (Item No. 24076-000).

Very high Quality
I bought a pair 2 years ago and I think they are really good. At first I thought they messed up my order, but I gave them a try. For comparison I have a pair of Dr Scholes that are similar in nature but softer, and a pair of custom orthotic inserts. These are most similar to the custom inserts but cheaper by a couple hundred dollars. A lot of back, knee, and foot aches/pain that I had in the past is gone. For reference I wear these most often in vans slip-ons, which are not great shoes, but combining them with these insoles really works. I highly recommend these over the dr scholes. These are a great value and I expect to buy them again.

Brilliant cure for foot pain!
These insoles do exactly what they say they will! It is a brilliant design for curing foot pain. Also, they are very comfortable. I tried to write a more detailed review, but for some reason Amazon asked me to re-write it, so I've made it a very boring review now, but I really cannot recommend these insoles highly enough.

Function
I have Mortons Neuroma I am trying to work with. These works good in my dress shoes. Not in the Hokas. It need some thinn strong double side tape to keep them from sliding around. The metatarsal pad is taller and firmer that I personally like, I am hoping it softness up with wear. For comparison Jill's Gels are about perfect texture and height for me. Effectiveness:Works well but will require some time for feet to go we t used to be it.

Great product!
I started walking 10,000 steps a day last year and after 6 months or so, started experiencing horrible metatarsal pain. It got to the point, that I gave up the walking because the pain was unbearable. I've purchased numerous high dollar walking shoes as well as different types of insoles and nothing helped. I came across this item when I was looking for yet another insole to try. I was surprised when I received them as they aren't the soft and squishy I soles like I've been trying. They feel strange when you first start wearing them, as you can feel that metatarsal pad, but then something incredible happens. The pain is just gone. I am so happy I found this product and you can't beat the price. I have one pair that I've been just putting into whatever shoe I'm wearing. I highly recommend trying them!

Definitely not soft
They are hard inserts. Believe I just need to break them in maybe but definitely not soft cushions at all. Bought for Morton’s symptoms.

Def worth a try.
There's a reason 80% of the reviews are positive. These inserts worked for me. I didn't love them when I first put them in. After a day of wearing them pain is gone.

Well made, relieved metatarsal pain...caused other issues.
I plan to update this review when I've worn these longer, but I thought an early review would also be helpful. They seem well made. They come with detailed instructions. There is a recommended period of adjustment; wear them for short periods and gradually increase the time. When I put them in my uncomfortable business loafers, and put the shoes on, my first thought is, "I don't like that." "That's not comfortable."So, I decide to do an experiment. I put in just one, then a different insert (I also bought 3 Dr. S to try cause I just started teaching in middle school and I am on my feet ALL day) in the other shoe. I wear them for a hour. Another day, I do the same thing but switch feet. I'm not sure I notice a difference in an hour.I try again, but for a longer time...2-3 hours (I forgot to keep track), but at home and mostly sitting. I still don't think these are comfortable. But when I take the shoes off, the foot with this insert feels fine...and the other foot is pins and needles and quite uncomfortable for some time (and I did not notice this happening while I was wearing the shoe, only when I took it off). Interesting.Today I am trying these with both inserts for a couple of hours, again at home. I'll report back how my testing goes. But I'm starting to think that maybe they will relieve the crippling foot pain (I literally cannot walk after I get home and stop moving) I've been experiencing. Only time will tell.Oh, I have been to the podiatrist...he wasn't interested in helping me solve the problem, he just wanted to write me a pain prescription. So, no.UPDATE:Well, I worked my way up and wore them for a full day in boots with a 3/4" heel to work. Overall, I would say they did the job of reducing the pain across the ball of my foot, even though it felt like they raised my heel even more, causing more pressure on my toes. The issue I had: they caused new problems for me. The edge of this hard insert rubs under the toe joints...giving me blisters. And the additional pressure caused my toe joints to swell...so I was still hobbled by the end of the day.I cannot even get myself to try wearing them again.I do think they are excellently made and may help others. While they felt weird, they certainly did relieve the metatarsal pain. But I find that they need to extend under the twos to prevent rubbing and pressure.
