Absolutely LOVE this product, I can’t wait for season 2, as rewatching season 1 was so much fun with this thing on (yes I’m a geek like that) with the proper painting techniques you can make it look exactly like it does in the show, I think the developer said there’s 1 seam line that is different from what you see on the show? I can’t even tell which line he means, it is flawless, and so many of the screens are the exact ones you see in the show which is so much fun especially when watching with friends. I currently use it as my bedside alarm clock and couldn’t be happier with it, it feels sturdy, of course the back is all plastic but I am the worst at taking care of things and have used it a bunch with no scratches or issues. The radio is hit and miss, but I’m sure there are modders among the fan base that can remedy that. I also love that they update it via a website and hard link to your computer. Speaking of which, it is my new favorite tool when doing video editing on my computer, there is a mode that lets you use some of the knobs and buttons to interface somewhat and the inputs are perfect for video editing imo. It is crazy comfortable to wear, and that is also easily modified as well without damaging it if you need a size up or down. I’m roughly 180lbs and it fits me well, though I do have slender wrists for my frame. If you’re on the fence I highly recommend buying this before they get wise and jack up the price, as I can totally see them doing with the popularity of this IP. Just price check the older ones and see how they stack up, while this one is sized right to actually be worn and look cool. I added some model paint to mine to give it more of a realistic feel, though my skill is pretty limited in that capacity, I’m pretty happy with the results. Some rust, dirt, and bloody fingerprints fit right in to the aesthetic I think 😂

Is it heavy? Kinda. Is it overpriced? Yes. It's s basically just a big watch/clock. But the real question is, is it worth it? If you're a fan of the games, or the show, then it is absolutely worth it. I wore it everyday for a week after I got it, and never got tired of random people asking "is that a pip-boy?" It looks great, it feels great, it is great. Some of the screen animations are a little dull, but the health, clock, and radio displays make up for it. It doesn't seem fragile or cheap, and it fits nicely. I have noticed that the glass display is right on top of the screen underneath, and just poking it caused the LCD to distort slightly, so I would advise caution.

Pretty cool, but would be great if it worked as stated. The alarm was turned on, power connected, but the alarm did not go off. When I looked at the settings, it had turned itself off during the night. Very strange behavior, probably a software glitch. I hope there is a 2nd update to correct it. UPDATE: Alarm doesn't work at all. I had it powered, screen on, alarm on and nothing happened (I had it set for when I'm at my desk, working. NADA!!**2nd UPDATE: No changes from me, but the alarm worked today. Power plugged in, screen off and it worked!! I am uncertain as to why. 28Mar2025But the other issue may not be software even partially. The lower right knob, the one to seek with the radio on, it is inconsistent in functioning AND it wobbles and feels like it is about to break. If this was a $40 item, sure, but it's $200.3rd issue is the paint job. Talk about amateur. Even I can do it better and I think I shall have to. I am just starting in distressing paint jobs on props and I am already way better. I'm not bragging, it's that bad of a job on this item. Really amateur.That's about it. Maybe I should have given it lower stars, but what is working is great. I hope they allow me in a future software update to actually enter coordinates and a name change on the map, as indicated on screen. That would be awesome. You can add your name to who it's assigned to, when connected to a PC and on their update site, which is way cool. But you have to use Chrome or Edge, btw, Firefox won't work.Overall, I'm a bit disappointed, but not enough to want to risk returning it and not getting a good one back. Ugh.So, yeah, I like it overall and I am keeping it. I'm just a bit sad about it.

I love fallout and the pip-boy did not disappoint. It is so much fun and I’ll walk around the house wearing it and my son is 6 and he just looks at me with confusion. It is definitely worth the price. The pip-boy is realistic and the material is not a cheap material. It’s a good size and it’s not too heavy. The instructions are easy to follow to set up. Anybody who is a diehard fan of fallout needs this for their collection.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love it! Got it mainly because it looks like a reskin of fallout 4s pipboy, but also the show is pretty good as well.It works like I thought it would and I have no issues with it! It fits on my arm better if I have a sleeve on but works just as well if I add a radio transmitter into the cuff behind the foam.Overall I give it a 10/10!The metal on the faceplate gives it a quality feel as well as some added weight. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who at least wants a close enough version to the fo4 pipboy. Paint it green if you must but it’s fine the way it is in my opinion!
