Great Starter Set
Brilliant markers. Blending and layering are amazing. Won't get a better brand for the price. Only downside is the range of colour tones, however great for starting your alcohol marker journey and there are extra colour sets you can buy if needed later.

Quality markers for a good price!
The media could not be loaded. Price: These are much more affordable than other alcohol markers although it's only 48 colours. Do wish there was more variety though as theres about 11 shades of green with some that are quiet similar and it's the same with the pinks and reds. I would love more pastel colours as some colours are so pigmented but I might aswell just buy the pastel pack.Quality: The colours are very vibrant and pigmented! It also comes with colourless marker for blending but even without that they blend very well. Works best on thicker paper.Features: Love the dual tips (one is a fine tip and the other is a brush tip). It also comes with a little info booklet and 2 cards to swatch the colours before you use them. Theres a silicone pad to put between pages to prevent the colours bleeding through onto the next page which is very helpful.Tip: If you get some on your table, rubbing alcohol removes the marker like magic!Definitely worth the buy if your a beginner or just want something to colour/draw with!Overall, 4/5 stars! I hope my review is helpful! 🤞🏽

Good functionality, but writing on side is coming off.
Pens are great quality, beautiful colours and smooth to use with a good, sturdy brush tip. However, the writing on the side is coming off after only 4 days of use. Although this doesn't affect the functionality of the pen, considering the price and how hard it is to get these in the UK at the moment, I'm pretty disappointed.WDUT FROM CONTACTING OHUHU: They dealt with my issue swiftly and politely. Therefore, I have upgraded my review from 3 to 5 stars because the functionality of the pens themselves are not an issue at all.

Great set to try if, like me, you are new to the medium.
I'm new to alcohol markers and I didn't want to spend a fortune on Copic. I made sure to Swatch both ends of the the pens on the cards provided in the set, to get a true representation of the colours and to make sure all the pens were working properly. I didn't have any issues with the pens not working. As you'd probably expect the swatches give a better representation of the actual colour of the pen than the pen caps.I bought the markers along with the Ohuhu marker pad. The pad and pens both come with a silicone mat to protect the following page. You do need something to protect whatever surface you are working on (I've included a photo of the back of one of my pieces for reference). So far I've produced a couple of pieces of line work, to give as cards, using the markers along with Micron fine liners and am happy with the results.I do agree that this selection would make it difficult to achieve realistic skin tones but to be fair they are advertised as '48 vibrant colours' and I enjoyed using these so much I ordered the skin tone set since, which I've yet to try.I've managed rudimentary blending (I'm a newbie) but I'm hopeful that with more experience I'll be blending like a pro before long.😀I think I may need to buy the pastel set as well, (my art supply addiction is showing) to round out the colour selection. It will be interesting to see how well they last. I agree with other reviews that it would be nice to be able to refill the pens to avoid wastage but then I suppose you would be looking at a higher price bracket. So far I am really pleased with these pens and would recommend - as you can tell as I have already bought more!
