You will learn a ton!
I read this whole book from cover to cover while studying my MSc in Strength and Conditioning and the NSCA CSCS exam which I passed first time. The information is very scientific and in depth, though I guess you wouldn't be looking at a book like this unless you had an interest in this area. Very well written and sectioned effectively, a very thick book also so it will take a while to read! I read for 2 hours a day and took me 6-8 weeks to read, though this is relative to your reading speed and comprehension. It can also be used as a reference guide and its easy to skip to the bit you need if being used for research due to the highly appropriate layout.

Strength Coach MUST
I'm currently studying health, exercise and nutrition in the UK, with the intention to sit the CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) exam upon my BSc completion. This book is the bible of all things strength and conditioning. The typical UK fitness market does not give information that cuts the mustard. Not even close. This book discusses scientifically sound principles and how to apply them.A book for life and worth the purchase!

Great!
Speaking on behalf of my son who is overwhelmed with this book so needed for his studies at Uni. He's happy with the content, binding and the price!!! (as it was a present for him) He said that this book has been the only book so far he can read any time and it offers so much to learn from. Happy child = happy parents!

Great book
I love this book. It goes into so much information that is so useful as a personal trainer to use with clients. It covers everything you can imagine, Nutrition, Program design, all up-to-date. I would highly recommened this book to anyone who wishes to further their knowledge on this subject.

well worth the money
excellent book, good to hear about what i should be doing rather than obtaining my processes from word of mouth, for example: do a 4 rep set with weights, one can rest 2-5 minutes. This is more logical than the 45 seconds rest a lot of mediocre trainers ask for in routines nowadays.
