I am truly impressed with the design and high quality of this 4-in-1 commode chair, which is already in use, helping my dad care for my disabled mum!The commode chair is made from very strong, exceptional-quality materials. It has a suitable weight to it, making it feel supportive and very stable. The frame is made from rust-proof aluminium, while the armrests, backrest, and toilet seat are made from a firm, yet 'warm and soft to the touch' hard plastic material. It's comfortable to sit on and comes in a lovely blue colour that looks clean, fresh, and modern against the polished aluminium framework.The overall weight limit for this chair is 330lbs (just over 23 stone).The standout features of this chair are its multi-functional uses. Being entirely water- and rust-proof, it can be easily pushed into the shower, allowing the user to enjoy a more stress-free, private, and dignified experience. The chair can also be positioned over a regular-sized toilet so that the user can use the bathroom in the normal way with complete privacy.Due to its substantial build quality and high-quality 360-degree swivel wheels (rubber-rimmed castors) with solid brakes, this chair can also be used as a reliable wheelchair around the home.Last but not least, the chair serves as an excellent and easy-to-use commode with the supplied lidded bucket, which slots unobtrusively underneath the toilet-style seat. Thoughtfully, the bucket also came with a toilet brush for easy cleaning. But to make life much easier, may I suggest you also purchase some commode liners, which are freely available on Amazon? I recommend the ones with gel sheets that quickly absorb all liquid—these make cleanup a total breeze and are an absolute godsend for any carer (my dad swears by them). No dirty bedpan to clean, you simply tie them up and throw them away!The chair arrived flat-packed and was very easy to assemble. It came with simple photo instructions, all the tools needed, and took me about 25 minutes to complete.In summary, I truly can’t fault this versatile and well-made commode chair. I believe it fully deserves the 5-star rating I’ve given it.
