So much goodness in an easy read!
Lindsey, thank you for writing such a wonderful book! Not only was this book eye-opening and encouraging, it taught me so much. We used this book for a group bible study and I can hands down say that each lady in the group felt the same. Not only did you write a wonderful book, you encouraged us along the way - which is going to be forever cherished by each of us. I can't wait to continue to put practice into play, and learn as I go. Thank you for giving such sound advice, that I feel brave enough to do so! Even when I don't know all the answers. I cannot WAIT to read more of your books and will absolutely be recommending this one to anyone who will listen.

A Place in my Top Recommendations
This book gave the philosophy of evangelism and discipleship a practical approach. It is easy to grasp and nourishment that ignites and encourages believers to step in confidence and love in faith. It challenges Christians to live out “love” and convicts them of how they connect to people and walk in relationships. This will go on my shelf as a top recommendation to believer and non-believer. Beautifully written and wonderful for a group or book club to dissect in a community atmosphere.

Refreshing Perspective on Defending the Faith
I came across this author when researching for alternative apologetics resources for my teenage son, as well as myself. He had taken to watching combative styles and approaches on the internet and I wanted to offer a different approach that I knew existed. I first purchased a book by Mama Bear Apologetics, which was better, but still didn’t strike the loving tone and approach I was seeking. Then I came across the connection that Lindsey had with the organization, saw that she had just released a new book. I watched a couple of interviews she’d given about it and wow. It was written exactly for this moment in the journey. If you want to set a good foundation as to how we can have conversations about faith in a loving and approachable way, this is the text. This book and Tim Keller’s resources were exactly what I needed. Lindsey’s words were and are a blessing, indeed.

Easy Read
This book was easy-to-read, straightforward, and full of Biblical references to qualify each point. It brings to the forefront social habits that should be and oftentimes are assumed to be our norms, but so frequently actually get tossed out the window any time a challenging situation or subject arises. As I read I kept finding myself saying, “yeah, duh.” But then also, “actually… that seems like a duh, but people don’t actually follow through on these things the way society normally implies they do.” So then, this book is a great resource for bringing to the forefront and reminding us of the way we should be interacting with others, not only as Christians, but as human beings living in a civilized society.

Your next Must-Read!
This book is a timely message for all Christians! When it comes to sharing our faith, our approach as Christians can often need more finesse to share Truth with compassion. Lindsey's book articulates how to do exactly that! I appreciate her ability to write clearly, with firm grounding in what the Bible says, while also being personally challenging, approachable, and sometimes even humorous. I highly recommend this book for every Christian.

A Great Resource For Reminding Us To Speak The Truth In Love!
Bridge Building Apologetics, by Lindsey Medenwaldt, is a giant “chill pill” for contemporary discussions on faith. Often, these conversations generate far more heat than light, putting up walls of resentment, arrogance, and hostility rather than building bridges of friendship, love, and trust. Lindsey provides her readers with a plea to “speak the truth in love,” as Paul said in Ephesians 4. This book is an engaging, easy-to-read, and incredibly helpful guide in learning how to hold beliefs with conviction and yet engage areas of disagreement in ways that show gentleness and respect. In the first half of the book, she grounds the call for building bridges in the hope of the Gospel and the examples Jesus and Paul. In the second half, she gives real, practical ideas for understanding one’s faith, listening well to others, and building friendships that lead to real relationships rather than simply talking heads. I hope many people, believers and non-believers alike, will pick up this book, devour it, and maybe… just maybe… we can start to listen to and learn from one another again!

A MUCH needed book in today's divisive climate
To some people, Christian apologetics has a reputation for being used as a weapon against others with different beliefs. It does not have to be that way, and it shouldn't be that way. This book shows us the importance of apologetics and how to use it to build and strengthen relationships, rather than push people away. It is GOOD to share with others the reasons for why you believe what you believe, but it needs to be done with a respectful and humble attitude, and this book will give you practical steps to accomplish this. Highly recommend!!
