This a superb book. Just what I needed.

Terryl is an amazing artist and this is a very inspirational book. It’s not an inexpensive book but it is very much worth it.

A truly outstanding book packed full of beautiful illustrations backed up with in-depth commentary of Terryl's design process. The book shows how to use the anatomy of wildlife of past and present to make seemingly Impossible creatures a reality starting with the underlying bone structure building up the muscles to skin, scales, spines, fur and feathers in meticulously labelled diagrams. I couldn't recommend this book enough to anyone Interested In creature design.
