If you dye your hair with henna, do yourself a favor and use this. I've used henna for over a decade and have tried all kinds of products, techniques, and hacks--but this was the very first time I have ever used henna where I didn't hate the process.PROS:- incredibly easy and fast to mix- no curing needed- significantly less smelly- very fine texture that makes perfect coverage easy- not messy in any way. First time I've used henna where there was zero clean up needed- no dripping at all- significantly less drying for the hair- softer texture that doesn't tangle and break hair like henna usually does- doesn't irritate the scalp like henna tends to- astonishingly easy and fast to wash out; henna usually takes me up to an hour to wash out and this took maybe two minutesCONS:- slightly more on the expensive side, but 100% worth every pennyEssentially, this product eliminates virtually everything that is undesirable about the henna process. Complete miracle.One last note: if you want a deeper color, just leave it in longer! The shorter processing time is lovely, but this product has far, far stronger selling points than just that.

As a frequent henna-user, I was intrigued by the idea of trying this fast-acting Korean Water Henna on my hair. From the reviews I'd read, it seemed quick, easy, and effective. I'd only used powdered henna prior to trying this henna. This review replaces one that I submitted, and then removed, a few weeks ago.I tried this unique henna product twice. The first time, I didn't do the treatment properly. That was due in part because the instructions in the package were in Korean. So after I started henna-ing, I hurriedly searched for English instructions. I found some on Amazon, but unfortunately, because I was hurrying, and because my glasses weren't nearby, I botched up the process. When I realized my mistake, I deleted my previous review, and ordered more henna. If you decide to try this henna, it might be a good idea to read the instructions on Amazon first--I wish I had!Like the first time, the henna package I received did not include instructions in English, but this time, I luckily thought to use Google Translate on my phone to translate the instructions from Korean to English. That worked like a charm, and I could read and properly follow the simple instructions!To use this henna, I whisked together the henna essence and henna oil packets (with a wooden chopstick--I'm hesitant to mix henna with metal) in a henna-proof bowl for a minute or two. Next I applied the paste to my freshly washed, towel-dried hair. I like the scent of regular henna, but the scent of this henna is lovely, mild and fresh, not as henna-y perhaps. I then covered my hair with a shower cap. I used a blow dryer off and on sporadically while the henna was in my hair. After about 45 minutes, I rinsed out the henna treatment in the shower. I even used bit of shampoo (which I don't do when I use regular henna), because of the oil packet. I didn't want my hair to be too oily.After using this Water Henna treatment, my hair was noticeably smooth and silky, with subtle reddish highlights. I will gladly use this henna again! Next time, I might don a spare warm, knit cap to cover my hair during the processing. Heat helps henna work its magic.

I've been using henna and indigo for about a year and a half. I loved it, the color, the fact that it's a plant with no chemicals and it is the only thing I've found that will cover my resistant grays. I was buying from a reputable source but I developed a terrible allergic reaction. Itchy scalp for days and a screaming headache. I swore it off. But I didn't want to, I'm not ready to embrace the gray and I don't want to use chemicals that don't work anyhow. So I searched up ppd free henna hoping to try it one more time. I'm happy to report I had no reaction to this product and the color is perfect! I highly recommend.

I was so excited to try this because of the positive reviews. However, the ingredients reveal that it's not natural enough to pass my standards. Surya Henna cream has much more pure ingredients. AND TO BOOT it would be TWO STEPS instead of one to achieve a dark brown color. This is not a win in my book. If I want fast henna, I'll just stick with Surya Henna cream. If I want all natural, I'll mix the real stuff and go through the steps.

It said that this requires less of a processing time but that's false. If you leave it on for 30 minutes like instructed, you will only get a very pale orange similar to what ordinary henna does. Sure it's easier to rinse out, but it has a weird waxy feeling? In addition the qty provided in this packet was only enough for root touchup.

Saw this on the internet and found it on Amazon. The price was great and it was very easy to use. They include a clear direction on paper. You mix two and whisk it for a minute and it's ready to use. Another great thing about this is that you leave it on for maybe 30 to 40 minutes. My bruentte hair did changed to slightly brownish orange color.

I don't understand how it's possible to have cured henna instantly but you know what I'm not going to look the henna gods in the face and spit at em. I'm a natural blonde and henna regularly. If you have hair longer than mine you will need many more packets but I left mine on for about 2 hours and still got beautiful results. This is maybe a week later as it's darkened a bit. Will continue to buy!
