Great little fan
I bought this for my truck for sleeping. It is very quiet and very sturdy. It blows a great amount of air for it's size and price point. The adjustable fans make it very adaptable for any location. I was worried about the size when I first saw it, out of the box. I have no worries any longer. Great fan, great price. Highly recommended.

Awesome fan, worth every penny!
AMAZING purchase. we bought because we were driving cross country and was going to be sleeping in the SUV multiple nights. High powered, moves air almost as good as my big fan at home.

Good quality, great speed control. Powerful and surprisingly quiet.
I can't speak to durability yet, but it showed up looking good and working great. It's very quiet, but moves a lot of air. The speed controller will take it from silently moving a tiny amount of air, to a powerful breeze, with infinite adjustments. The clamp gives me more angle and mounting options than other clamp on fans I have or had.The price is about $10 higher than the cheap one I bought at an auto parts store, but the quality and function is much greater. The cheap one didn't have this infinite speed control (in fact it has only on or off), and was obviously cheaper construction. This one is good. I would have rated it 5 stars if the price was a little lower, or if I use it a lot over the next year or two and it still works, I'll change it to 5 stars.

New, But Nice So Far for Poor Shopping Hubby + UPDATE
UPDATED, after 2 years, BELOW: Only used it a few days so far. I use it in the car to blow air in my face while sitting in the car in a parking lot while the Wife Unit is attacking the shopping maul. Since I don't react well to most shopping, I sit in the car and read the Kindle. This in northern CA weather. I thought a coupla speeds would've been fine, the variable speed *is* better, allowing just the amount of fanning needed. The giant clamp is strong and the two adjustable captured-ball joints work great. The ball grabbing tension is adjustable on both balls. In other words, you can point this really well. It is very quiet at slow speeds. Can't hear it all on high when a ridiculous boom box car goes by. *Much* quieter than the face fans in the motor home. Another nice is there is *very* little vibration. No, I've not done any sound db or accelerator vibration tests, just comparisons. As long as the electrics and mechanicals hold up, my real test will be to see if the wiring will hold up over time as it gets unplugged and stuffed in the back seat every time the Wife calls and tells me which store will have to restock and where to pick her up at..... anyway, so far, so good. If it flakes out, you'll know right after the manufacturer. No, I never get the toy-for-free-testing, I just buy the things. Update: 9-20, I'm glad y'all enjoyed my review. The fan is still working great after many maul assaults over 2 years or so. We just went through a few 105-108 degree days with me being baked in the car. No, I won't run the engine while park to cool off. Engine wear is nothing. It is all the plastic and rubber plumbing on top of the engine, under a cover no less, that is being cooked that is a problem. Too time-consuming to troubleshoot some failing widget or leaking hose under there! I found that in msjor heat, you need some more help. I bought a set of three little spray bottles to get one to use to clean those treasure-worthy metal detecting finds. Yeah, right. Actually, I bought it to hear the Wife Unit complain about another Hubby Amazon package delivery. Yes, it worked. I found that using one of the little very fine spray bottles to spritz my face once in a while with my fan blowing made the car almost survivable. When I showed the Wife my great shopping acuity, I got the expected eyeball roll. I use distilled or bottled drinking water. Faucet water has too much calcium in it and it crusts up my face. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085QD1HKY/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1...Are the little bottles but any fine misty spray bottle will help a lot. I'm nice to my fan. I just slightly fold up my fan's wiring and lay the fan and wiring into a little box on the car floor behind the passenger seat. Yes, it is an Amazon box. So, the fan is still working, I take care of its wiring, and a spray bottle of water does help on the really hot days when you are cooking yourself for the cause of keeping your spouse get her shopping fixes.

Flops straight down
Wouldn't have even bought it if they'd shown the cheap plastic connectors than rely on friction, tiny grooves, and actually fitting snuggly (they did not).
