45% Pure Vinegar - Concentrated Industrial Grade (2-Gallons)

I just ordered my 2nd set of this vinegar. I use it on driveway weeks, garden weeds, walkways, and near fences. I use a 2-gallon pump sprayer and fill it with 1 gallon vinegar and 1 gallon of water. For good measure, I add about a 1/2 cup of Dawn and 1/2 cup table salt. (I do r know that I have to have those extra things but I mean business lol). Just know this has a very high vinegar odor- even outside. Wear gloves. I accidently got some on my bare leg and I felt it! It works fast- same day results! Spray it when your weeds are dry and the sun is shining for best results. I’ll never use a chemical weed killer again. Also- when I use it in my garden- I don’t spray close to my plants- just the walkways and in between plants. It will kill anything in its path.

As a weed killer, this stuff works quickly. To me the smell wasn't all that bad, but my neighbor did complain about the smell. The smell doesn't last long and this isn't poison, so everyone will get over the smell. Just add a second gallon of water, a cup of salt and a tablespoon of Dawn and go spray any kind of weed. My only complaint is the cost. For this being vinegar and not a commercial weed killer, it costs more. I can't explain why, but it does work quickly.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product has always been a win for me with the weeds in my yard. Id rather use this than the toxic to human weed killers. On a sunny 80 degree or higher day, I use a mix of 1 gallon this vinegar, 1 cup salt, a few tbls of Dawn, and 3/4 to a gallon of water. By the time I get finished with my job (1/2 acre or so) the area I started with is turning yellow. I had issues with delivery thru Amazon in the past (poor packaging caused damage) so the company hooked me up. It is strong in smell don't breathe.

Great for making homemade weed killer

Works just fine, although will need to be regularly re-applied. I've bought this product repeatedly at this point. Works like a champ - safe for kids and pets.

Works really well not easily to come by in that strength

When mixed properly, it is a competent weed suppressor and herbicide. Formulas on the internet vary but are usually close and work well. Most importantly, it is environmentally safe for groundwater. As with any chemical, precaution must be taken as to its use.

Hollister, CA. Diluted this vinegar by half in my one gallon sprayer in order to kill Horseweed (Erigeron bonariensis and Erigeron canadensis). Powerful stuff! All dead in 24 hours. Also used on Spurge (Euphorbia maculata) with quick success. Works great on perennial grasses, cheeseweeds, and probably every other weed that I don't have. Watch the price on Amazon, sometimes it is cheaper at Walmart with 3-day shipping.
