no instructions or stop pin/screw
No instructions, but it is labeled as a "Houson 2Pcs Mount Adapter C0022" on one side and address on the other side. It feels like a nice machined two small fixed 11mm dovetail to picatinny adapters. There are two side screws for the adapter as well as two allen keys provided, but I'm not sure if the screws are actually needed since each of the dovetail is a single piece - you would expect the peripherals picatinny clamps to clamp onto the dovetail adapters - I've seen other dovetail adapters where each piece is in two halves with either spring or screws - those are used to fit between 9 and 11mm dovetail rails - these are not them. Also surprisingly there doesn't seem to be any stop pins on these adapters which would stop movements of peripherals added to the rail adapter which I expected to see? Currently selling for 7.99

Please do not buy. They just don't work.
They are just solid bits of metal with bolts that just screw into the metal with out clampoing anything. Seller, just stop selling rubbish like this! Wastes everyone's time.

Picked these up to test with some cheap picatinny accessories. It's a decent product if you know *exactly* what you are looking for, so for the avoidance of confusion, here are the caveats:It's a pair of slide-on compression adapters with picatinny rail on the top. The upshots of this are:1) while you can tighten them once fitted, there's essentially no size adjustment or flex so you must *know* it is exactly the right size, and2) you must have rails all the way to the end of what you are fitting them on or they will not go on.The Weaver system itself is not a very well defined/followed standard. This, coupled with the above means that there's even the measurements are as stated, there's a chance this will not fit. If you're unsure, you probably want the the universal type instead. For reference if you are trying to eyeball it, this is a bit too small to fit on most HWs. The adapter will take a curved surface between the grooves, though. With that out of the way, once fitted this works perfectly. It has a solid grip on the rail, can be tightened up nicely. It does not move in light use, and can be used to fit a Hawke scope perfectly and there is no play or rattle once tightened up. Elevation is 5mm, build quality is good and Allen keys are included.
