Bought for elderly relative, worked great, great grip and easy to throw in the wash to clean. Lightweight and good length.

I've been a physical therapist for years and this is the most cost effective and durable gait belt. Put it around the patient's waist with the teeth up, pull it snug and double it back over the teeth to prevent slipping. Protects patients from injury by providing a safe "handle" to hold on to to help them maintain balance or stand up from either a chair or from the floor after a fall. Prevents people from trying to lift the patient by their arms and risking tearing the shoulders.

I wasn't sure the correct way to put belt through the buckle, so it was adjustable and secure. But it was strong and reliable for helping patient stand with confidence. Thank you!
