At least out of the 10 I bought none ripped. Did 2 rye berries and 8 hardwood sawdust. The seal might be a tad hit or miss though. 2/10 didn't have a seal after PCing, at least not a good one. Possibly my technique though. Still a 100% recommend for the novice.

When I needed to transfer my Uncle Ben's tech to a grow bag I used this and without me needing to sterilize the inside of the bag and it kept growing mycelium after the substrate was added to it inside the bag.

If you sterilize at 15psi for more than 1.45 hours they wrinkle up. Good for an hour 30 min.

Smaller than I thought but that was my fault, ordered because I made substrate only to realize I only had one bag, so for the price not too bad, and at the last minute, they got here within 2 days at least with prime, so decent.

You've got to be careful with these because they struggle to hold up to any scrutiny unless you've been extremely careful. This is why I didn't give it 1 or 2 stars because if you work it right, you'll have some success.

This is the 2nd time ordering the Grassland Hills Ranch Mushroom Spawn Grow Bags.Altho I'm a new mushroom grower, these bags have gone thru 2.5 hours of pressure canning at 15 PSI without problem.The bags have stood up to various substrates of sawdust mixes growing some nice flushes of oyster mushrooms.I'll be ordering more in the future.

I’ve ordered this same item before. This last batch was an opaque clear plastic that doesn’t look like standard grain bags. It melted in my pressure cooker.

These are perfect. I fill them with substrate and put in my insta pot to pasteurize. I have had great results with growing spawn in these. I inoculate and cover tiny hole with tape. When practicing proper technique these will produce great results. I like the smaller size also. They work great with straw.
