A true winner!
This is an incredible EDC, couldn't be more pleased. The fit, action, materials QC ,bladesharpness and appearance are outstanding. It's very smooth and fidgets flawlessly. Glad I went for the Rosewood scales, good grain and color, does have a bit of grip texture. In my modest collection of about 16 very decent knives this has moved to the top of the list. Very precise workmanship. No regrets whatsoever.

CJRB, nice knife good value
New brand for me. I've had various knives in price and style from $5 throwaways to $600 handmade. I'm impressed with this CJRB pyrite Bowie. For a "plain" pocket knife, it has a classy look, sexy blade, nice deep carry pocket clip and overall clearly solid construction. I would recommend it as a good EDC option for anyone looking for a knife better the the $25 range with the $100 range quality. I use my knives so time will tell on performance, but all indications are pointing towards satisfaction.

Great knife for the price
So far I am very pleased with the knife. The action is fun and very fidget worthy, the blade is sharp and the lock mechanism seems to be well built and easy to use. The size is perfect for a light pocket carry and the bowie design is classy. As far as durability I am not sure, but have a great feeling about it.

Excellent sans the paint
The CJRB Pyrite is one of the best EDC pocket knives under $100 especially if you can get your hands on one with S90V. I purchased the black and rose gold bowie version purely for its uniqness. I absolutely love the Pyrite line, and this is my fourth. Two of them are their ultra premium versions and some of my favorites in my collection. I find that I'm frequently chosing between mine for daily carry. This Pyrite Bowie version is fantastic sans the matte paint. Which within a few hours wore to a shine in the high traffic areas of the scales. The full length fuller plus thumb stud makes it a top contender in the fidget world. I can say they are some of the best BL's in the industry. Almost zero lock stick on any of their models. Civivi take note!!The weight and balance of the Bowie style feels excellent and way more expensive then their price suggest. The action is smooth and buttery. Handle ergonomics are comfortable for any task that you "should" be using this knife for. AR-RPM is kinda new and taking a big hit recently. As we are.finding out the steel is more comparable to 8cr with slightly better edge retention? Not to mention CJRB's misleading powdered metal claim, which it is not. I'd say 14C28N has a significant advantage in edge retention and well pretty much across the board. Again i bought this due to the uniqness and ocasional carry for very light duty. When it comes to CJRB's Pyrite line, there's something for everyone and on any budget. They hit it out of the park with this model. I'd say in the budget world of knives it WAS the Civiv Elementum's closest competition, until the revelation of Artisan Cutlery/CJRB not doing their proper reasearch on their own propietry steel. I will continue to recommend picking one up. They are still excellent and as mentioned before if you can find one with a more premium steel, you just can't go wrong. You might be surprised at how much you find yourself reaching for it.

Buy it. Bowie blade is great. Beautiful knife. Well made. Should cost more.
Great edc knife and beautiful. The best part is the true bowie shaped blade. Sticks into things with ease. Comes sharp ootb. Pocket clip is good. Doesn’t hold as well as a spyderco clip but dang close. Just be careful when reaching into your pocket to pull something else out. I work in very tight spaces. Hasn’t fallen off yet. Well made. Best knife you can get at this price point and a lot better than knives that cost three times as much with exception of Rat 1 knife.

A gorgeous knife with a sharp blade
I've had this for almost a year now. I love this knife. It looks good with the rosewood handle, complimented by the sand polish finished metal. Its a heavier pocket knife due to the size, but manageable. The locking mechanism is smooth along with the opening action. Knife came sharp out of the box.

GOOD KNIFE
The knife is very well made and the steel is easy to sharpen. The thumb stud opener works well. This is my first button lock and it took a little practice to get used to operting it since my right hand has nerve damage but some practice and I can use the button to close the knife. It is fun to play with and I like it.
