I just tried them the day they arrived. They worked perfectly. Two sizes incluided what was great since I have small ears.

Ease of placement and removal

From a personal point of view. I Recommend these, to anyone who swims.

Working as expected. Water won't get into my ear and my eardrums stay dry. Not feel uncomfortable when using them. They are light and soft and fit well.

This set of earplugs includes a nice case, 2 sets of earplugs (large and small), a small carabiner to attach the case to something, and instructions. Like that it has clear instructions and diagrams on how to use these.The correct way to insert these is to have the pointed ear wing/hook piece pointing away from you when you put the plugs in. There is a 'R' and 'L' indicator on the inside of the ear wing piece, but it's not easy to see.Pool testing: Prior to swimming, put the right one in my ear, and it created a good seal. However, the left one did NOT create a good seal. I turned the earplug around in the canal, but it didn't seal, it felt loose. I then rinsed off both ear plugs and inserted them. The right earplug created a good seal, the ear wing fit ok, but again, the left plug just didn't fit very snug. However, the seal was a little better after rinsing. Swam for an hour and the earplugs worked adequately. The left one had to be adjusted a few times, it just doesn't fit my ear as well. Because the swim cap was covering my ears, I didn't have any problems with water getting into my ears. However, if I were surfing in rougher waters, I wonder if the left one would come loose.I am a lap swimmer and swim daily with ear plugs and have not had a problem using other types of ear plugs. Comparing these to my other earplugs, I noticed that these plugs have a 3-flange triangular shape that widens towards the outside of the ear canal. My other plugs are not as wide, so perhaps this 3-flange shaped plug is the reason I was having problems with the fit of the left ear plug.Product comments:Would prefer that the product came with 2 sets of ear plugs that are the same size, so that there is a backup pair. For me, the large ones don't fit, so don't know what I'm going to do with those. Of course, I don't know how anyone would know what size their ear is, when ordering these.It would be helpful if the Right and Left ear indicators were in an easy-to-see location. The current location on the inside of the ear wing / hook attachment, is hard to see, especially since the ear wing piece is dark. I had to look at these a few times in order to find the R and L indicators.The case is really nice, but not that practical because it doesn't look like any air will circulate in the case to help dry out the ear plugs after being used.At $10 for 1 pair of ear plugs (since one of the pairs I cannot use) and a case (which probably won't be used), these seem a bit pricey. Competitor brands have multiple pairs of the same sized ear plugs and a case that allows air circulation for the same price.In summary, the product works fine, but I didn't gain any benefits from the ear wing piece because the 3-flange design didn't fit my ear very well.
