These work incredibly well, I thought they might slip but not a bit

While probably not an OSHA approved lifting clamp. This is just what I needed and is working fine for me. I’ve also abused it a bit and it’s lifted clearly more than it’s rated for.

It wouldn't let me upload the video I took for my review of it in use with stone. My husband picked up a small piece of concrete, and it didn't take much wiggling for it to slip loose out of it. The pads are also very stiff, which I don't think helps. The finish work on it isn't very nice, as pictured. It is also very heavy, which doesn't seem too helpful for picking up heavy things.

I moved about 20 concrete curbs, 6 feet by 5” at base and 4” at top x 19” high, about 450 pounds each with no issues. Not bad for 1/4 the price of some others.

Because the pads on the clamp are too hard they don't grab well on most materials. We had to use strips of rubber in between the clamp pads and the stones we were lifting to make it work. The pads should be made of a material like car tires, soft and sticky

For it's size it's built out of quite stout iron. I wish the jaws went slightly wider, but this does what it's supposed to do - lift heavy stones. And really, it'd probably lift anything else that fit in the jaws. I didn't have a problem with the jaws gripping, maybe there might be some slippage if the stone is polished on both sides?

Great rock or hollowblock holder/carrier. Makes my life super easy when building up top. Perfect and non slip however the carrier itself has some weight to it so you are pretty much carrying double weight. Other than that is a great little jelper. Highly recommended.
