Q: Does this have an automatic shut off for low water levels?

Not that I know of. Ours continues to run when low on water.

Q: What can I use to get the 'slime' off witjout taking the fountain apart

Take a gallon jug and fill it with water for refills and just add some white vinegar to the jug. The quantity of vinegar depends on build up. After its pretty good you can start just using a quick splash or so into the jug and adjusting with time. Other than that you'll have to take it apart to scrub it. You don't wanna scrub it and not wash what your scrubbing off the fountain anyways.

Q: Can this be mounted to the wall?

No, the upper portion rests in the base. Both sections have weight.

Q: How do I go about ordering a new pump? Mine broke.

I would check online, or at Home Depot.
