Game changer for hot days
We’ve tried a few different sun shades before, but this one is by far the easiest and most effective. It opens just like an umbrella, so setup takes only a few seconds — no more wrestling with those awkward foldable ones. It fits our windshield perfectly (we got the medium), and you can instantly feel the difference in temperature when getting into the car. The interior stays noticeably cooler and protected from direct sun. It also folds down neatly into a compact case, so it doesn’t take up space when not in use.Highly recommend if you’re tired of dealing with the heat or flimsy sun shades. We love it!

Amazing Sun shield!!
As I live in Florida, a sun shield is necessary before the brutal sunlight turns my car into an oven cooking me when I sit in there. This is the perfect one because it’s easy to set up and remove, it only takes the space of a regular umbrella when folded up, very lightweight, and once it’s set up, the entire car feels dark enough to make me sleepy, I highly recommend if u have some coins to spear for a good sun shield!!

4 stars because their customer service is amazing
This product was tagged as being a fit for my 2010 Honda Fit, and while it "fits" it also does not. I ordered the medium and the length was a little long, but it is super convenient that the sides are so flexible. The problem is that it still wasn't quite wide enough to fit the fishbowl of a windshield on the car. I tried it out for several days to get used to how it opens and closes, but ultimately used it to hold up the sunshade that was custom fit for the car but started sagging so I had been trying to find another replacement for. So not the ideal use for the item. Their customer service reached out all on their own to ask about the product and when I explained, they sent me the large version. As I feared, it was now quite long and somehow still not wide enough but now I had an increased amount on the sides that was both good and bad. The curving of the sun shade meant that it wasn't as tight to the windshield and actually overlapped to the point that it touches my driver and passenger side windows. Yet it was still so short that the visors would not have held it if not for the velcro in the middle over the rearview mirror. I do still use it, but I am using it to hold up the other sunshade. If it fits your vehicle you may love it. It is well made, and the concept is great. Here are my concerns from almost a month of using it every day: If you have anything hanging from your mirror, tuck the sun shade behind, closer to the actual windshield to open. I suggest a soft opening, slide it up to the windshield and then slowly open fully, being mindful that the edges do not get folded up at the corners. I did then need to bend the handle to hold it up tighter to the windshield. This is a little frustrating when you go to take it back down because you will need to do a soft closing part of the way when you take it down, kind of pull it toward you so you can get to it and straighten that handle out so you can close it the rest of the way. It is not something I would recommend doing in tight places if you have a passenger.

Super easy to put up and take down
This was much better than I was expecting. Easy to put up and take down, and wraps up quickly and easily to put away. I have a 2009 Honda CRV and it's a little bigger than my windshield, but the corners have springs so it flexes against the frame which is neat. I have to flip both visors down to help secure it but I like it since it helps keep it up. I haven't noticed that much of a temperature difference but at least my car doesn't burn me when I get in anymore.

Perfect for the ‘25 Ioniq 6
First of all, Amazon has a big red warning that this product (size medium) does not fit the 2025 Ioniq 6 - but it does, and it’s perfect! I am very happy with this shade. For my car, the handle does not need to be bent or angled as it is not touching any part of the screen and/or dash. As others have said, I recommend opening about 1/2 way and then placing the shade into the windshield area. Once it’s fully open you just velcro the strap around the rear view mirror and pull down the visors. It blocks every inch of the windshield.I’ve known for 2-1/2 months but so far it seems very sturdy and durable. It is extremely easy to open and close. No more fighting the origami tricks of the twist and collapse together shades of the past!

Wasn't Sure At First But Now I Love It!
It seemed like an ingenious idea: a sunshade that folds up like an umbrella? At first it felt a little awkward, and you do have to bend the umbrella rod so that it sits on the dash instead of sticking straight out, and then unbend it in order to fold the shade down, but these are little quibbles now that I've been using this for awhile. I LOVE how easy it is to pop open and even more than that I love that once it's folded it fits neatly into the cup holder at the base of the car door, so it's out of the way and you don't need to stick it between the seats or at anyone's feet. The shade is large and completely covers the front windshield of my Kia Niro compact SUV. I don't even need to lower the visors because once the rod is bent in place on the dash it keeps the shade pressed up against the glass. If your car is a bigger than the Niro than yes, you may need to use the visors. This is a GREAT invention and highly recommend.

Buy something else. Doesn’t fit even when it says it will based on your car model.
I have yet to see how much heat they reduce as I just got them and installed. There are several areas that light leaks through, and it feels fairly cheaply made. I like the bendy handle to keep it propped up on the dash, but the sun is definitely leaking through. This will also not work super well if you have a dash cam. Even on my sisters car which doesn’t have a dash cam, it fits fairly poorly. The images in the listing are extremely misleading, making it look like a high quality product with good thick fabric. But the fabric feels like flimsy umbrella material. It is lightweight and folds easily, but that’s about all the good I can say.
