The 7 metre length of this cable has made all the difference to my home charging.
I live in an Edwardian terrace house that has a stupidly long front garden, and a small, enclosed, paved yard to the rear that has no vehicle access. This outdated, 1907 garden configuration means that even a max length, 20m charging cable is not going to be long enough to reach my vehicle even when it is parked at the front of the house. To make matters worse, due to the very poor access at the back of the house, the 5m long, home charging cable that came supplied with the vehicle, is just over a metre short of being able to reach the charging point on my Cupra Born without me having to connect it via an extension lead, which although IP rated, still worries me a little when the weather is bad.I have thought long and hard about paying to have an EV fast charging point installed, but as I only cover about 20 - 30 miles per day at the most, using slow, home charging is not really an issue for me, and to be honest, I can't think of a good enough reason to justify going to all that expense of having one fitted. However, this top quality 7 metre long charging cable by EVPEIWE, means I can now connect it directly into the charging unit that is plugged into a standard 3 pin socket outlet in my kitchen, and the extra 2 metres of cable length means that it now easily reaches the car without the need for the extension lead. The cable comes with its own sturdy, zip up carrying case to keep it clean and tidy when traveling away from home.Very Happy to recommend

Good quality 3 phase lead
Being a 3 phase cable, this is quite a heavy and chunky cable, but obviously ideal if you have a car and charger that is capable of handling 22kW.In my case, my car can only work off a single phase, so I was only able to test at 7kW, but it worked fine at that and I can see all of the other pins are present for the other 2 phases. It all feels like good quality kit and I had no issues with it.There are captive end caps at both end of the cable and a decent storage case.Just over £100 for a 7m 3 phase cable of this quality seems decent value to me.

Great quality cable
We’ve been very pleased with this EV charging cable. I liked that it came in a nice case, which meant it didn’t end up a tangle in the boot of the car, and also was easy to find and get out when we needed it.It’s well constructed, and feels like good quality, and is well made. The 7 metre length is very useful, particularly if you are charging away from home and aren’t able to park as close as you need to.We’ve not had any problems with this cable, it’s great to keep in the car, and it works well with our Nissan Leaf.

EXCELLENT BIT OF KIT
Difficult to find a lot to say about this cable. It looks and feels to be very well made. Comes in a bag that can be stuck to the sides of the boot, and a cleaning cloth, and instructions. This one is 7 metres long, and also available in 5 and 10 metre lengths. Used on a Mercedes and did the job perfectly 😊👍👍👍👍👍

Excellent quality
This charging cable for our electric vehicle came in a lovely pouch so we can store it away when not in use as we don't currently have a permanent outside socket set up.The cable it's really thick rubbery style and the charging point seem very robust. It charged our vehicle with no issues so far although I haven't kept track of the time as such so can't compare it with the charging points in town.

Always good to have one of these in the boot
Having one of these in the boot of my EV is just such an obvious back-up, to me. It clearly isn't meant to be some kind of everyday, every stop, go-to charger, it's more the kind of thing that you keep handy in the car boot, in case you get caught out.So you have a good chunky 3-phase heavy-duty cable with a type 2-to-type 2 (IEC 62196-2) plug on a cable of 7 meters (honestly, I would have loved to see an extra meter or two of cable here), and they've added some handy icons to the plugs to let you know which end goes into the car (female type 2) and which into the charging station (male), which is always good! It's designed to be used at any EV charging station up to a power of 32A is compatible with different power levels of 7.2 kW, 11, and 22 kW, and has over-voltage, short-circuit, and over-current protection, all of which help to make sure no mistakes are made, or if they are, there's hopefully no damage caused. It's also IP5 dustproof, and IP5 waterproof, as well as being fire resistant. Importantly, it comes with CE and TUV certification. Plus it comes packed in its own carry and storage a bag, so that you can stow it in the wheel-well in your boot--that's where it fits in our car.All in all thisa seems a solid and well made charger cable, that's well set up and easy to use--just plug it in and you're working. To me, this is a very reasonable price for something that you're not just going to just pick up anywhere when you actually come to need it. To have it already there and and waiting to get you out of a bind is perfect.

Works
Hard to leave too much of a review on a cable - but I have tried it out on our tesla model 3 and model x - it works well.Comes in a nice carry case and is now kept in the boot for the odd occasion that we’d be out and about with no juice!Charging time seems normal to me.Good quality

Be sure what cable you need
Cable was good quality but unfortunately not the correct type for my car.Not all Type 2 connectors are the same, 3 phase cable will not work with single phase.
