I bought this to take away with us in the caravan. I suggest that anyone buying this sets it up at home first. It's easy to assemble and I pack it in the caravan with the LNB arm removed from the dish (held on with 1 bolt) and with the tripod folded up it takes very little room. You will need a very accurate magnetic compass, I'm tuning mine to Astra 2A,B,C,D,F,G to receive Sky and using my old Sky Plus HD box. Initially I got a very good signal on the tuning meter (turn the knob as far as it will go to start with, then turn down when you get a whistle/signal) but I'd got nothing on my sky box, the reason became apparent when I ran the signal into my TV that has a built in satellite tuner and I had a perfect signal from the Hotbird satellite, this is why I said originally you will need a VERY GOOD COMPASS. As soon as it's pointed at the right satellite it works extremely well and with 4 outputs from the LNB I've found I can use 1 to feed the TV and use the twin cable that comes with this system to feed the sky box.

Well constructed product which is relatively straight forward to put together. Would say the instructions could be improved but the materials used are of good quality. Used for a static caravan holiday home so ideal. Had some issues trying to locate a satellite at first but once you i had the general direction and adjusted the lnb left/ right.....bingo. Would recommend the system works great.

The parts we adequately packed and suffered no damage in transit. All I needed was there, including useful and informative instructions for setting up the dish and using the sat finder.Setting up was a breeze and I had a signal in no time. I used one of the many satellite finder apps on the various marketplaces to know the rough direction, angle and LNB skew to start off with. Then the supplied sat finder did the fine tuning.My only negative and the reason for marking down to 4 stars is that the extension in the tripod that the dish bracket bolts onto is very short and flimsy. The shortness is just about OK, but would not be good if I needed extra height because of nearby hedges, walls, etc. Other tripods I have seen on caravan parks have had much longer poles.The biggest concern, though is the thinness of extension piece. It distorted when I bolted up the dish bracket, even though I used the minimum tightness to stop the dish turning. This now means I cannot slide the extension back into the tripod when packing away. I suppose the short extension is a bonus now, as it doesn't add much to the packed length of the tripod.

I purchased this satellite dish for use when camping. The instructions assume it is for a house so I had to adapt slightly but not difficult. Product worked first time. I needed some assistance to find the correct satellite but once it was facing the right direction it all worked perfectly. Definitely recommend. You will need a little experience at stripping wire and adding the plugs to the wire. Not difficult.

I’d have given ‘0’ stars if possible! Purchased this item 6months ago to use whist caravaning. I’ve not been able to get any signal at all and tried over 3 separate sites, tried to contact seller who simply rejected my request for a return with no other contact! I will now contact the Local Authority and pursue a claim, surely the seller must know about consumer protection and a Trading Standards intervention! This item is and always has been faulty and not fit for purpose!!

This does not receive SKY Q. Ihad to buy the correct LNB. Tripod is good and sturdy.

Like the dish does what it needs to do , Dislike the sharp edges of the metal fold round the perimeter of the dish { I have now rectified } Tripod stand operation will be effected when used at coastal loacations from airborne salt water particles so lube moving parts from time to time , in all a good product for the price.

Set up the tripod and satellite dish on the Isle of Skye, in the middle of a hoolie. As a complete novice, experienced a bit of a faff getting the dish to align with the correct satellite for UK channels (initially picked up a Turkish radio station but at least it proved the system was working).Tip: to get your eye-in re alignment, check if there are any other satellite dishes in the area and follow their direction into the sky.There were some unrelated technical issues concerning the free-sat box I was using but eventually tuned in to lots of lovely free channels.As feedback to the supplier:1) for exposed locations such as coastal camp sites, maybe include longer fixing down pegs for extra grip (12" instead of 9").2) not sure if the alignment meter was that brill, sort of wavered around a bit in a tenuous manner (although I was a long way up north)
