really, really solid jerky. a little on the pricey side, so this will be a rare treat rather than a staple, but i'm not disappointed. you can tell the ingredients are high quality - flavor/spice is balanced perfectly, no chemical undertones. it's very tough, but i like that because it forces smaller bites and a really nice chew. i'm tired of falsely moist jerkies just for 'tenderness'. the 'slab' nature is pretty much a novelty, i guess i was expecting a slightly thicker cut or something, but this is mostly just a few long/folded standard pre-cut strips. overall, will definitely buy again.

Max’s Jerky is great jerky. The basic beef jerky is good but definitely try the chicken jerky or pork belly.

Great flavors, and plenty of product, but in jmo way would I ever want to drop near $50 per order to restock.

Tastes good, but overpriced. Big bag with just a few pieces for $15 is way too much for beef jerky.

This is overall good near artisan quality jerky. When they say SLAB, they're not kidding, one of the biggest slabs I've had. It was 1 large slab, and 1 smaller piece in my bag. And those 2 pieces couldn't have been more different from each other. The huge slab was on the moister, less jerky side and way too sweet for my liking, as in the sugar content should be cut in half. The 2nd, smaller more typical jerky size piece was more of what I expected, pepper flavor up front (not sugar) and a tough dryer piece of meat.Both pieces were good, but different from each other. If I had a choice, I'd pick the moister piece with less sweetness.
